Wonder if the Big Thunder music in RDCT will be back? RDCT hasn't done a summer without it. I actually wondered if they dreamed up Magical for summers since they shorted RDCT back in 2009(The shorted version wasn't good enough for summer?)Well RDCT is staying longer then the Msep but if Ptn comes back in the Summer and they have RDCT with the Msep music that will be the weirdest thing ever, Unless Msep is gonna stay longer like it did in WDW

I hope the 2017 version of Remember will be the original, full-length show. Though even 2016 WOC was cut down from its original length so I guess Disney is doing whatever they want anymore.

Why would that matter? No one's going to care. The show is 12 years-old, highly doubt people will be thinking of that. You do realize there are attractions referenced in the show that are no longer in existence, right?

Depends on what kind of CM they are. Front line CM sure, higher up CMs not so much.

Let's just say for the heck of it tables end up turning, or he** freezes over lol, and WDW did borrow PTN. When would TDA need to ship out PTN in order for it to debut at MK in time for summer? There was a post today on FB about a 7 day press event taking place at WDW around May 21st. My guess would be WDW will want its summer entertainment, whatever that be, up and running by then if not shorty after?
Now it took from October 9th (MSEPs final performance at WDW) till January 20th, this month, for MSEP to be shipped from WDW to DL and debuted. But when MSEP (DEP) left DCA to WDW in 2010 it only took from April 18th (DEPs final performance at DCA) till June 5th to be shipped and debuted at MK... My guess is the reason why it only took about two months for MSEP to ship to WDW was due to there being no maintenance/refurb required once it hit WDW other than unpacking the floats, assembling and rehearsals. Plus it wasn't the first time shipping MSEP so they had experience. Now I'm assuming the reason it took about 4 months ruffly for MSEP to get back to DL and debuted was due to the ruff state of the floats and TDO needing to do a quick refurb?
When it comes to shipping PTN it might be a longer process than 2 months for shipping, assembly, and rehearsals since its totally different floats and WDW has no experience with any of it.

Imagineers are not involved in operations, and the parade's schedule is an operations decision. Once the parade is turned over to the resort to open, WDI is no longer involved.
I understand why desperate WDW fans want PTN, and it's really sad that TDO is incapable of running what is allegedly the world's most attended theme park, but wishful thinking is just that. There are no plans to move PTN to WDW at this time. TDA paid for the parade, TDA is paying to refurb the parade and TDA will reopen the parade. It would take a forced hand for them to give it up.

Which sounds like would be the case if that rumor had any truth to it. Wasn't TDAs hand forced once before when they updated DEP then sent it off to WDW? I know the DCA overhaul had some effect on that decision however.

That is unless MSEP's run at DLR becomes open-ended and TDA says "here, you can have PTN." Just saying...

DCA renewed DEP for the 2009 Summer Nightastic. When Magical opened and the new F! Dragon was supposed to open. So I don't think TDA renewed DEP in favor for TDO.

We possibly could I hate to say it. If TDA is ready to scrap it but TDO is desperate for a nighttime parade... I could see TDA letting TDO have it back permanently. Which I don't think TDA would care one way or the other to be honest.
Of course who knows if MSEP could survive that trip again. It sounds like it barely made it back to DL and there was some damage done.
