Welcome to the splendor, the spectacle, the sparkling sensation. Where the romance, the comedy, and the thrill of Disney's fantasies come to electric life.

Take this for it is worth, but yesterday entertainment front-liners at DL were claiming a big announcement was coming today.

And they are saying that PtN is coming to WDW (as absurd as it sounds) and MSEP will be returning to DL AGAIN in January. I have no way of verifying this at all, just passing it along.
I've heard this as well. Not confirming it, I just wouldn't be surprised. I'd also be very pleased. I don't get the hate for Paint the Night. I thought it was a fantastic parade.

When you are wearing your father's moth-eaten gym sweats from the '70s, last year's Gap hoodie is an improvement.

I don't hate PtN. It just feels out of place on MSUSA. But so does Move It, Shake It (the latter arguably more so).

Me too. If this is indeed the plan (PTN to WDW, MSEP to DL for refurb and seasonal use), it sounds to me like the best of everything. WDW gets a new-ish parade that IMHO is great and MSEP gets to be fixed up and stick around. Given it's place in Disney parks history, I think MSEP is at a level of classic that should be preserved.

I agree - with some updates and love MSEP could be around for many years to come.

I'm going to be very surprised if anything of substance comes out of this. The pixie dusters are going to eat up this cookie cutter garbage though.

Edit: Do people really care about the answers to the questions that they're even asking? Do we really care what the Disney Ambassadors' favorite A or B attractions are?

They can sink the floats at Castaway Cay to give the people who overpay for their cruises more old crap to look at while they snorkel.

Funny you should mention Castaway Cay. I was on an overpriced Disney cruise Friday-Monday. On Sunday night (after leaving Castaway Cay), my wife and I were in Pub 687 and overheard two cast members discussing the Paint the Night move to WDW. Take it for what it's worth, but I thought I would share this potentially corroborating evidence.

As much as I would love for PTN to come to WDW I can't see DL getting back the train wreck that is MSEP. Especially not after they got PTN

That's the part that doesn't make any sense.

I can understand the notoriously cheap and leadership-deprived TDO team wanting to steal PTN, but I can't imagine how the Anaheim team would sell the dusty-musty-1970's MSEP coming in just after the blazingly-shiny-new PTN has set a new standard for 21st century night parades. If MSEP rolls down the Disneyland parade route a few months after PTN closes, there's no way to look at that but a terrible downgrade.
