I'm afraid you'll find your information is wrong.

Unless you mean it's a done deal and MSHI is about to be plussed which would be correct.
Really? They'll be starting major work on this before even Kong is finished?!?!?! They do work fast.

ETA: by major I mean more than just the Hulk redo.

I have to assume Universal will be preplanning attractions in case their movies hit, which brings this new Oz rumor. With a Wicked movie possibly a few years away, they don't want to be caught with their pants down if it hits a home run like F&F and Jurassic World have. It's clear they weren't ready for either to be as big as they were.

Still, I don't know how a Wicked project fits into the timeline, outside of turning one of the terrible theater shows or the unused Toon Lagoon theater into a Wicked production. Kong, Sapphire, Hulk, and more than likely work on F&F and Fallon will be 2016, not to mention Volcano Bay. 2017 will still have F&F work, Nintendo I would imagine, and maybe the beginning of bigger Marvel work. This on top of needing to fit in work on something Jurassic World after the past week.

Not saying they can't do it...but the logistics are pretty baffling for the next 5 years.
Not to mention something's got to be done with the Lost Continent/Toon Lagoon areas, something for Shrek and T2, the Hello Kitty area, Seuss getting something on the last major expansion pad for IOA, the eventual 3rd gate, more hotels, Cabana/Royal Pacific expansions, and something for the MIB/Springfield mystery plot... and E.T./ROTM are supposed to get upgraded correct?

Really, they should replace Fear Factor with Wicked instead of that MoM concept. Give the area some steampunk theming to provide an actual transition between MIB and London.

With the $7-8 billion from WW box office, and the billions from the theme parks, I'm sure Comcast could afford $30-40 million for a Wicked mini-land next to London.

From what I heard the plan is Hulk at end of year. MSHI plussing next year, and the E at the end of the plan.
So Doom and the Carnage warehouse are being used for just the E? Or is there a smaller attraction being added also?

I'm curious to see what ride system's used. Spidey and FJ-style rides are out since they're already in IOA. Could this be Universal's attempt to one-up Tower of Terror?

I'm thinking Storm Force will probably get rethemed to Thor or Captain America since it appears MSHI will switch to Avengers/MCU.

Either way, exciting that 2018 could see Nintendo and Avengers in the same year. Possibly F&F too.

Universal Creative are so.... fluid.... That keeping track or getting absolute dead certs is nigh on impossible. Storm Force is due a retheme it looks like and Fear Fall will be offering up its space for a new build. Last I heard.

To go to your earlier post, Mummy, ET and T2 should all be getting upgrades too. T2 has some already. Fear Factor is being looked at as an expansion pad too. The MIB neighbour plot has had some clearance done already but I believe that's a long term proposal for building on. Expect other things to happen first.

It's not getting any new attractions or anything of significance.

If your talking about changing some facades and a paint job then that's a joke and shouldn't even be mentioned.

I remember when everyone here was so sure Jurassic park was getting a roller coaster and a new dr Seuss ride based on lorax was "in the bag". But keep living in lala land and keep waiting year after year for some new marvel rides that won't be surfacing.
And now that Jurassic World is a success we are getting those Jurassic Park additions which have been mentioned in two different interviews that I've read so far with the producer of the movie. The Lorax ride was axed but look at how much we're still getting. If anyone is in lala land, it's you buddy. @marni1971 said on this very page MSHI will be getting an E. Hope you enjoy the taste of crow and humble pie :)

That crow and humble pie will expire long before Marvel Super Hero Island gets a new marvel e ticket #nevergonnahappen

You did say an E at the end of the plan. I think we all know that won't come next year or even 2017 even at Universal's fast pace. I'm thinking 2018/19 at the earliest. He's saying it's not happening at all.

Lorax was postponed because of Kong, F&F and Nintendo. Those are IPs that need to hit while the iron was hot. Dr. Seuss is timeless enough where they can start making a new attraction based on any of his books even 10-15 years from now.

Jurassic Park was only canned because Comcast wanted to wait to see JW's box office. Obviously, something is coming to JP within the next 5 years after its phenomenal BO run.

MSHI revamp actually makes sense - especially tying into the MCU.

Why so angry? Do you have a personal stake in this?

And yes, Marvel is getting revamped at IOA. That is 100% a go from my little birdies. HOW it will be revamped is what is being worked on at the moment.

The best option would be to focus solely on Avengers/MCU.

Theme Storm Force to Thor/Loki
Bulldoze Doom and the Carnage warehouse
Redo Hulk track as floorless and retheme to Iron Man
Add a Captain America streetmosphere show
In Doom/Carnage area: Avengers E similar to ToT with KUKAs, Alien Encounter-esque show themed to Hulk

MSHI desperately needs a C/D. 3 Es in one area is going to back things up. Hence, why I'd like to see a show of some sort added in addition to the Avengers E.
