Over hyped Star Wars Galaxy's Edge

How in the world can you feasibly link one themed land(such as a Star Wars) among two WDW parks which are miles apart?

How???

Answer: there is no workable way, none.
If you're gonna respond to something, you should quote.
Anyways, you are overestimating what disney might do. Sure disney could do the smart thing and not link 2 lands that are miles apart. But when was the last time disney was smart?

Indeed!
I should be quoting before responding as to make things easier for participants in the discussion.

Now on to the idea of spreading a themed land among 2 parks.

Many months back Well before construction it did cross my mind if Disney had a realistic opportunity to pull a Universal at their DLR: Star Wars in both Disneyland and Cali Adv.
Link the 2 Star Wars sections with a non thrill attraction(for obvious reasons).

Would a gondola lift work?

I don't see how it could thematically work either short distance in the case of DLR and especially long distance at WDW. Of course it could work in a practical/utilitarian way with a prohibitive price tag but the gondola attraction would clash something horrific with the thousands upon thousands of non Star Wars riders. That would be one cheeseball, eyesore "THING" for the non riders in DCA, DL and Disney Downtowners to gawk at and ridicule as it passes above nonstop from park open to close.

and 3 roller coasters

True, though of course those consisted of one minimally-themed re-theme of an existing duel-track roller coaster, and one minimally-themed re-theme of an existing kiddie/family coaster. So the only new and fully-themed components were the Hogsmeade village and Forbidden Journey. The Dueling Dragons / Dragon Challenge re-theme probably added some draw to the land, though I suspect it was quite minor compared to the immersive aspects of the land (Hogsmeade / Forbidden Journey).

tomast,
Please don't pull a George Constanza and double dip:
Dragon Challenge is really one attraction.

Just as Magic Kingdom's Space Mountain, Disneyland's Matterhorn bobsleds and Epcot's Mission: Space are all one single attraction so too must be Universal's Dragons.

I never saw the pre-potter version, but I thought the Potter-era queue and themeing for the Dragons was understated but fantastic. I especially liked how using the Tournament setting from the 4th(?) movie provided context for the ride. It was a perfect compliment to Journey.

That depends on how much of a coaster connoisseur one was. Unlike the other attractions you mentioned, the dragons were far from mirrors of each other. Ice was a typical but very good B&M, but Fire's layout was exceedingly unusual for its class.

Well, most people aren't 'coaster connoisseurs.' I rode them both back to back and there wasn't that much difference in them. Especially considering the theming is the same. ...but hey they're gone forever now - so it doesn't much matter.

I have ridden both fire and ice perhaps 15+ times each and yes they do offer different experiences(I liked ice better).......outstanding total attraction....and yes I have a real appreciation for themed out rides, especially coasters.

But they both are still the same attraction. My overall point is I feel it would be padding the attraction count at IOA if we called it 2 instead of 1.

Yes and no, it's only one attraction but it gives you two different experience, it has more to offer than goofy's barnstormer
