Your schedule makes me tired just looking at it!

Personally, I don't need much time at Hollywood Studios. You might try to fit in DTD on the 15th and go to HS later for rides and Fantasmic. You could also go to DTD on the 18th since you're doing 2 full Epcot days.

Have fun!!!!

Looks like you have no dinner plans on your AK day. This would be a nice time to hit DTD. You can simply take the bus to AKL then to DTD. Have dinner there somewhere and so some shopping. We always like to hit DTD sometime around the middle of our trip. We try to buy most of our souveneirs here and ship them all back to resort so we don't have to carry them.

i can't imagine arriving at the ploy and going to .... DHS !!

how can you resist the lure of the castle.

especially since you already have a full DHS day planned.

we only spend a few hours, if that, at DHS each trip.

my two cents

sounds....exhausting........ I LOVE IT!!!:sohappy::sohappy::sohappy:

I agree to use one of the EPCOT days or Studios days to explore DTD, esp since they are the closer.

The only thing that I would change would be your arrival day. I would either hop on the Monorail for the Magic Kingdom for a couple of hours or go to DTD then. I would feel rushed at DHS, don't ask me why. :ROFLOL:If yu have to be back at the Poly, it's not going to give you to much time.

Wow! Your family must have alot more energy and stamina than mine does!:ROFLOL:
My kids (or me for that matter....lol) could never handle that many early mornings and late nights at WDW (especially without afternoon breaks back at the resort!) but if your family can...then more power to you!

I love the Poly!!!!!

Have a blast!

:snore: I agree, that is one tight schedule. Will DGD be able by Wednesday to be up and ready by 7:30 each morning? We always stay late but we don't have that many early mornings!!

I think Magic Kingdom should always be the first park visited, but that's just me. Of course EMH can also play into the planning. I'd rather go to MK on an EMH day then go the first day and not be able to take advantage of longer hours.

BTW, I love the tight schedules. If you can handle it, go for it. Although I go for a longer stay so we try to get the parks down in 5 days (and we do just about everything except at AK which is a half day) and then relax or go to Water Parks the other 6 or 7 days.

I agree with others, rather than rush to the Studios I would take the monorail to let your grandaughter get her 1st sight of the Castle and relax a little.

I'm trying to resist the Magic Kingdom til the next day because I want my granddaughter to be in total awe as she walks into the Boutique for her princess make over (she has NO clue) :D Thought it might be more special to see MK for the first time then?

Another great idea...we opted for the luau early because it's two hours and after being up since 3:30 in the a.m. I might pass out...a quiet trip to DTD could work here too

Ok, so, we might just ride the Monorail for a bit...get that first glimpse of the world in and go to DTD...I know the schedule is tight but with only eight days, I wanted to do as much as possible. On the EMH days I see a trip back to the Poly for beach time and a little rest then go back to the parks...I'm sure we'll all be exhausted and need a vacation when we get home :D I'm old school Disneyland so I will probably be worse than everyone else put together. I'm anxious to see the difference in parks and just plain be a kid again...this is really MY vacation :sohappy:...everyone else just gets to tag along :D

I am postive that this will change at least two more times before June 13 lol

Your schedule sounds wonderful. Our family always hits the ground running too. We are only there for 8 days and so are on the go every moment, and rest only when we go to bed at night!!! Have a wonderful time...

We always drive to Orlando and the first night we stay off site and check into out Disney Resort the following morning. So, our first night there we normally head straight for DTD and we have dinner out somewhere and just try to unwind from the trip down. It's just a relaxing way to start the vacation off, especially after a day of traveling. :)
