Thought I'd share this story with everyone. We were at the guest services window at MK trying to locate our brick that we had purchased back in 1997 (the CM helping us name was Victoria). The kids saw the signs for the Pirate and Princess Party and were asking if we were going to get to go to it during our vacation (DS 7, DD 5 1/2); we told them not this trip. My husband looked at me and said let's check out the price, so I asked the CM to price it out for us. The CM asked if we would bring the kids up to the window, she spoke directly to the kids and this is what she said "If you promise to bring your mom and dad back later tonight we would love to have you as our guests at the Pirate and Princess party and here's a coupon for you to go into any shop and pick out a Princess tiara and a Pirate hat of your choice." Needless to say the kids were very excited, I wanted to cry, my husband was thrilled (they just saved us nearly $200+). Were we actually going to the Pirate and Princess party Compliments of WDW - Yes we were! I never in a million years thought that we'd receive anything during the Year of a Million Dreams, but we did; and now I can say that dreams really do come true. We had the best time, the parade was FANTASTIC, the fireworks AWESOME (the best I've ever seen),the goodies (yummy - chocolate) and the wait times after about 10 p.m. were about 5 minutes for everyride. My kids were thrilled to have ridden Goffy Barnstormer twice without ever having to get off the ride. We stayed to the very end - What a blast!! It was Our Dream Night at the Magic Kingdom.
