Congratulation, glad to hear you had a great time!
I was working one night when this happened, and I got to excahnge the certificates for crowns for 2 little princesses. The family was thrilled, as I'm sure you were.
It would be okay with me if they made this whole "Year of a Million Dreams" campaign, and its related spirit of giving, permanent ("Home of a Million Dreams" is a decent start). I was cynical about it to begin with, but it's freaking genius.
Oh, and congrats on the tickets, too! PnP is a hoot because of the low crowds.
thats amazing!! i wish that couldve happen to me, eventhough paying for it was worth every doller and cent i had to pay...going for free must have freakin' amazing!!!
Was this part of the YOAMD, or was it just "Disney Magic".
Either way, it's things like this that make all those posts (here and elsewhere) about chipped paint, cracked pavement, and other minor misgivings seem inconsequential.
I have had events happen like this out of the blue to me as well. Heck, I will even relate one of them. My then 4 year old tripped and fell (wearing shorts) and landed smack on her knees. The way she landed, she did not even get a scrape. According to her, it was because the "magic of Disney" healed her. Later that night we were in the pin shop and she tells this story to the CMs in there. They were in tears after she told it (much better than I do). The one CM said a story that special deserves somthing to remember it with and then gave her a Cinderella pin. Thats the one pin she cherishes above all her other pins.
It things like the OP's story and that one that keep me comming back
