I'm so excited! Elizabeth from KK made our ADR's y'day morning. She got us everything we wanted for around the times we wanted. We are on the dining plan.

Sat Oct 17: Hoop Dee Doo Revue 5pm (out of pocket with the money my kids saved collecting change)
Sun Oct 18: Crystal Palace 8:10 am (can't wait to walk down Main St with hardly any people)
Sun Oct 18: Whispering Canyon 5 pm
Mon Oct 19: Yatchmen's Steakhouse 5:40 pm (our anniversary)
Tue Oct 20: counter service (water park/dh's golf/resort hopping day)
Wed Oct 21: Coral Reef 6:30 pm
Thur Oct 22: Sci Fi Dine In 11 am (out of pocket. dd wants to go here)
Thur Oct 22: Grand Floridian Cafe 6:55 pm
Fri Oct 23: Chef Mickey's 7:30 pm
Sat Oct 24: T-Rex 1 pm (then hitting the road for home )

My husband can't understand why I'm so excited about this. He just doesn't get the whole planning thing. He's happy we are going but not as much as me. He will be more excited when it gets closer. He's not a "Disney Freak" as he calls me.

ooh, you have some really good ones! I'd be excited too! Of the ones you've chosen we haven't been to the Hoop Dee Doo, Yachtmen's, or Coral Reef. But we've liked all the others! Have a great trip!

Out of our list everything but Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace is new to us. That's one of the reasons I'm so excited. I'm glad to hear that we've made some good choices.

That makes it even more exciting! We always like to try new places, although as we do it becomes more difficult to find places we haven't been that we want to do, especially when that means not doing old favorites.

Some very good choices. We traditionally have an 8:05 ADR for Crystal Palace on our first full day. That is when it really hits that our vacation has started. We love to walk down Main Street alone and get some pictures before checking in for breakfast.

Try to get to the gates as early as possible. Sometimes they will let you in a godo bit before the ADR. That will give you extra time to take pictures, etc.

We just made out ADR's for the same week, we will be in Chef Mickey's the same time as you. It will be our first time there, actually.

Awesome! We love Chef Mickey's. My husband has only had breakfast there. He wasn't along when the kids and I ate dinner there. He really wants to try it. The kids and I loved dinner.

He'll at least understand the dinner planning once he sees the people without ADR's getting turned away!

I don't mean to detract anyone from eating at Sci-Fi but, I ate there last year and never will again... The food was ack... We had to send out hot dogs back 3 times because they kept coming to us cold... The waitress was nice and the atmosphere was enjoyable, but the food was crummy...

I do hope you all have better experiences than I did...

And I do like the rest of your ADRs.. I will be there the same exact time as you...

That's why we aren't using the dining plan for it. I didn't want to waste my credits on so-so food. My sister and brother in law both agree that it's fun for the kids but the food is just ok. With lunch I don't have to get a huge meal. I could just do an app and desert if I wanted.

I know that a lot of people say the food at Sci-Fi is bad, but I really didn't think that at all. I thought it was much better than somewhere like Tony's. My kids had no complaints about their meals, and I had a pasta dish that was quite tasty. I guess it just depends on if you get them on an off night.

My wife and I have eaten at Sci-Fi every time we have made a trip to WDW. In fact, we are eating there again this time. I've never had bad food there and you just can't beat the atmosphere, particularly when you have a great CM as your server.

Guess the place is hit or miss.. there are plenty of people who had good experiences and good food, then there are those who experienced what I did... The atmosphere is kind of nice though...
