Nope, regular admission.
They are at the streets section, and are turned on around 6 each night. Generally, flow is directed in one direction, so you can walk through the whole area, then you can go back to favorite spots or as many do, hang around the Lights Motor end of the street to watch the dancing lights.
The music, lights, choreography, and snow are different from each location, so relax and spend plenty of time there.

Generally less crowded earlier in the season and not on weekends. There also tends to be a big "slug" of people at the start, then it tapers off some later in the evening.

Her are some other references for you:

Even by looking at the pictures or watching youtube videos, there is nothing that can fully prepare you for being in the middle of it! Amazing!

Lights are usually turned on at 6, so you can be there for that then shuffle off to MK. Even if you are a little late, there is nothing specific happening at 7.

Of course I'm assuming ticket use is not an issue...

No we have PH's. We have ADRs @ Ohana at 5 though. It may be worth a quick trip over there to HS...

I have been to Disney for Christmas the last 3 years in a row, and was not able to coordinate our schedules and have missed these lights all 3 years. They are on my must-do list for my solo trip this year. No one to worry about but me! Heck, I might even go see them twice!!

The Osbourne Lights are located in DHS and are free - with normal park entry tickets.

They're just like your regular Christmas lights at home - only there's a few more of them :ROFLOL:

Think here Blackpool Illuminations (only better) - a walk through event where the lights flicker and flash and then they dance in time to Christmas Tunes.

A great Disney experience and yet another one not to be missed

Osborne Lights Are A Don't Miss!

Osborne Lights are spectacular! No other way to describe them. Over 5 million little twinkling, dancing to the music lights....with 30 snow machines and music to blow your ears off! Ain't nothing like it! I can actually say it's one of the few times my 11 year has an ear to ear grin for about an hour straight!!! lol They not only put you in the Holiday spirit....but they make you feel WONDERFUL! They are a truly special event.

Can you tell I get a bit excited over them?? LOL

My new plan is to get to Ohana early (I know they don't open til 5 but hopefully we can be the first people in), eat there and not rush (well anymore than they kind of rush you!), rush to TTC to catch a bus to DHS, run back to the Streets of America to see the lights, and then rush back to MK for MVMCP! I think we can do it! :ROFLOL: And if my other 2 travel companions don't want to go, I think I'll go alone. Who knows when I'll be able to see it again?! Oh this trip keeps getting better and better! Epcot F&W Festival, MVMCP, AND Osborne Lights! :xmas:

It is amazing!!!! It was the highlight of our trip last year. I have 20 minutes of video if you want I can post it. It is really alot of fun and it's included in your admission to Hollywood Studios. We spent an hr just walking around looking at the lights.

Its on every night of the Christmas Season at DHS - after 6pm (I think)

I always forget how early it begins to get dark outside around winter time...

But great news about moving the start date up! We'll be there Thanksgiving week, so now we get to see them...looking forward to it! :sohappy:

They turn them on about 6 pm when it gets dark.
They stay on till park closing, sometimes after most other attractions are closed.
You just walk around and look at them and periodically they play music and make them flash on and off, sort of like dancing to the music.

Tks.

BTW- Where is Mabank?

Really!!

Wow reading this is making me happy.:sohappy: I thought they did not turn them on until the day after Turkey Day. So I thought we were going to miss them.

We are going to be there Nov. 21-30 and we have no parks planned after Thanksgiving, we were going to tour the resorts.
