With the closing of the M&G's today this seems unlikely. I figured we'd see walls up by tomorrow but I guess we'll see.

Logistically it's just too hard to extend the Lights too much further. A day? Maybe. But after the 4th the park closes at 8:30 most nights with fireworks at 8. That means the lights would have to end at 7 for fallout and then they'd basically be on for just an hour. They'd have to be prepared to change the time of the fireworks and the dance party as well as the park hours and possibly the Fantasmic times, and then change the staffing to accommodate all those changes.

3 more nights, I guess? Park now closes at 10 from the 4th through 6th, Park still has to close early on the 7th for a buyout, I believe.

I don't know if this changes the lights. Monday was already a 10pm close and does not have the lights scheduled.

Another week of same ole same ole, another week no construction.

With the marathon next weekend I don't think the few extra days will affect any construction. Let's just hope it isn't a sign that they're not actually ready to begin construction.

3 days for a five-year project is nothing. Sometimes the weather delays projects of this nature by months.

Nice they are extended. The rainy dreary night tonight is no way for these lights to end.

They brought joy and huge smiles to me and my fam, and I'll never forget my grandmothers faces when they saw them.

Best WDW moment is always running thru them at mile 10ish. Thanks for a good show

They will run thru 9 pm each night with Symphony at 10 pm.

I know a mere few days means nothing is the grand scheme of things, but walls would be nice. I'm bitter.

I doubt even if the put walls up tomorrow nothing would have happened. So you would rather have walls up with nothing happening than three additional days of entertainment that I doubt are affecting the construction schedule since the streets aren't actually being touched/affected anytime soon?
