Who cares about expansion? Anyone know a timetable when the lights will be up and running? Don't they start with Christmas decorations right after Halloween?
They normally start early November.

Yes it was reported on many sites.
Glad to see this cause family plans are just beginning for holidays.
Thanks for update.
I hear M folks living near me but have no verification that the plan is to have a lot of the present walls around the Hub down. New garland to go over Main Street to accommodate the new taller FOF parade are in the plans. The bypass is being moved forward slowly but should at least look a little better by the Holiday season. Not like Paris but better than at present and a lot better than a year ago. But the entire Hub project is scheduled to go into 2015 so new walls may go up in other areas of the Hub after the present ones come down.Wrong park here, but has any planning took place regarding Main Street for the holidays?
Rumor was that if/when DHS got their improvements, the lights were leaving, in part because the streets might have been effected. Since those plans are delayed, or completely off the table, the lights are back.wait - was Osborne not coming back after the 2013 season?

Looking forward to Osborne Lights again this year, and they usually kick off around November 8-10 sometime.
We always travel in late September or early October and the lights on the buildings are all up or are being put up when we go. So it's safe to say they start in September typically as we always see lighting work being done by the end of the month.
I was fortunate enough to go to WDW the week after Thanksgiving a few years ago. Seeing the Osbourne lights was one of the few moments from my entire trip that I just stood there looking around in awe.Thank you.
Call me old fashion but nothing beats the Osbourne lights for Christmas.
Obviously another false rumor.
Any news this year may happen shortly after Potter 2 opens. Or after Blue Sky Cellar reopens. I am sure something for 2016 must be in the works at one of the parks.
This year is gone for us to see any big moves or changes to hole lands. So they might as well get some revenue from a cool event
Ehh, sorry, but I would have been so much more excited to see construction than the same old lights.
and then when that doesn't happen, you'll just spin some other excuse as to how its all part of TDO's big picture plan or whatever.
There was talk this time last year that 2013 would be the last time Osborne Lights would be seen at Walt Disney World. So much for that. . . but yay for being wrong.Lots of talk, but talk is just that: talk.
