They are also marketed in 2015 AP materials.Looks like the Osbourne Lights are returning again this year. runDisney is using them in the promotional materials for the Wine & Dine Half Marathon in November, which I don't recall them doing so prominently in the past. Actually doctornick, it is pretty darn tough to put up some fake streets. You would have hundreds of labor hours of design and engineering time. The cost and time to construct these engineered (to withstand hurricane force winds) facades is extensive too. And of course, where? Where at DHS do they have the room to commit that much space for that much time? Once you begin to examine the reality of an idea presented in the scale that Disney would need to, you realize that it is far from easy. It is in fact very tough.I still don't understand the issue. By now, wouldn't they know whether they need the SoA plot for any expansion? And, even if they need it, how tough is it to put up some temporary fake streets somewhere to continue to have the Lights?
