Ordering from Kid's Menu

If my daughter, age 10, and my friend's daughter, age 11, cannot find anything they like on the adult menu at a table service restaurant (excluding buffets)--can they order off the kid's menu?

Thank you for any help you can give.

Some of the morality police will attack you for stealing from Disney and breaking the rules and ... in other words, all BS.

If your child wants something from the kid's menu and that portion/item satisfies them, then you order it.

No one will say a thing. No one will think less of you.

I'm 23, and I have been known to order adult portions of meals on the childrens menu. 10 and 11 year olds may be satisfied with the childrens portion, and that would be fine too.

I have ordered kid's meals before at WDW simply because I can't eat a lot of food at one time and the "adult" meals can be too large for me. (And just a waste of food.)

No worries whatsoever. Order away.

I get weird looks at San Angel Inn when I order from the kids menu (I'm 6'3" and 25 years old). But if they had at least one item on their regular menu that was simple and plain, then it wouldn't be a problem. I love that they try to bring some original and unique dishes there, but would it kill them to have some simple tacos or quesadillas? *End of rant* :)

I do all the time, especially in the parks, I can only eat so many hamburgers and chicken nuggets, it reeks havoc on my stomach, and so I will get the PB&J off the kids menu.

Or sometimes I'm just not that hungry.

You wont have any problems, in all the years we have been going, no one has ever said a word to us.

LOL! SO true! The kids menu can be a bit more "regular" but still something different especially at places like San Angel Inn.

It isn't a problem at all and most places in Disney will even give you a more adult portion of any item on the kids menu if requested. We run into this problem every trip because my brother is 20 yrs old, but pretty much refuses to eat anything else besides chicken tenders which of course limits our dining options. Most places we went to were able to serve him his chicken tenders no problem.
