Opinion on changing 1900 park fare characters

This restaurant is always available. Maybe if they had some relevant characters. What kids these days even know who Mary poppins, Alice and the mad hatter are? I guess it sort of makes sense with the theme of the hotel but change it up some

I have an 11 am ADR this week and lady on phone said Alice Mary Mad Hatter and Pooh and Tigger? Or she said EEyore. I think The Pooh and friends are more off being there than the others.

I think the characters there are perfectly appropriate. Who would you add? Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy? And make it exactly the same as Chef Mickeys, Tusker House and Cape May Cafe? 1900 is great because the characters are DIFFERENT than all the other character meals. Since you think those characters are so "dated" couldn't the same be said for Ariel? And Belle? After all their movies came out in like the early 90s.. Why should young children these days know who they are, but shouldn't know who Alice and Mary are? They're all "classic" characters in a sense that their movies are all over 20 years old.

Can you change the thread title please? It implies you have news about character changes, but it's really just your opinion about changes they should make.

EDIT: Thanks!

Totally agree with everyone's comments. I did not mean to come off too negative. My kids do not know those characters but that doesn't mean other people don't enjoy them. I would rather go somewhere I know my kids will recognize everyone. For the price of these meals I want them to embrace every character

We have had dinner at 1900 Park Fare on 3 separate visits, with Cinderella, Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine, and the 2 'sisty uglers', Drizella and Anastasia. Is Cinderella no longer there?
