STOP #8: DISNEYLAND RESORT

Welcome back to the Disneyland Resort! We started here on our first stop, and now we're here for the final leg of the journey. We're tired from driving around the state, so we need a place to stay. And that's where you come in!

-Challenge-
Design a new hotel for the Disneyland Resort

-Rules-
You may use between 1 and 3 sentences and up to 1 image. The deadline is Tuesday, April 20th at 9:00 PM EST. Look for feedback and results no later than 10:00 PM EST that night, along with the next prompt.

-Tips-
K.I.S.S. – Keep it simple, silly. Try not to complicate or overthink things too much. It’s a simple, casual competition – there are no eliminations. Propose as you please!

THE GRAND WESTVIEW HOTEL​

As part of DisneylandForward, we’re moving forward with a brand new hotel coming to the Disneyland Resort where the Toy Story Parking Lot used to be: The Grand WestView Hotel, inspired by the Disney+ hit series, WandaVision.

In order to make up for accidentally taking over WestView, Wanda Maximoff with the help of Doctor Strange has created a brand new tourist destination, The Grand WestView Hotel, which will drive up the tourism at WestView and help improve the lives of its citizens; at this one of a kind hotel, you’ll be able to meet some of your favorite Marvel characters like Wanda Maximoff, The Vision, Monica Rambeau, Doctor Strange and Agatha Harkness.

Visit The Grand WestView Hotel, where each of its six floors will be themed to a different decade, from the 1950s to the 2000s, while the lobby will be inspired by Doctor Strange’s Sanctum Sanctorum; throughout the hotel, you’ll be able to find interactive experiences like Agatha’s Basement, where you’ll help Billy and Tommy try to steal the Darkhold, and there will also be a character dining offering.​

There's Tulgey Wood-themed bedrooms, an eatery owned by the Walrus and the Carpenter, a gigantic pool where Caucus Races are hosted once a day, and plenty of Wonderland's residents running amok!

The smelliest event of the year, Gil's Garlic Festival celebrates the fact that Gilroy Gardens' mascot is a garlic clove with all sorts of garlicy foods, live musicians singing about garlic, and the scent of garlic being pumped through the whole park!

GILROY GARDENS PROMPT

GILROY GARDEN'S FARMER'S FESTIVAL

Fusing the normal idea of a theme park food and wine festival with the locavore mentality of Californians, this will showcase not just local foods, but local fresh produce, small-batch goods, crafts like blacksmithing and woodworking, and live entertainment local to the area.

Ever since Monstropolis has started to open its doors to humans, this top-notch hotel has become a wondrous vacation spot with services and amenities so good, it's almost scary!

Side Trip #4: County Fair Concert Showcase

It wouldn't be a county fair without some good music among the rides and games, so this new show brings a great mix of country and bluegrass music to the festivities!

Side Trip #5: Three-Ring Circus Tree Festival

Step right up for this astounding festival of fun, bringing together colorful circus sights like clowns and acrobats with the wonders of nature, like Gilroy Garden's iconic Circus Trees!​

TOON HOTEL
As the visitors can visit Toontown's highest hotel tower, Toon Hotel based on Who Framed Roger Rabbit, there the guests will stay there their vacations to meet Toons of Toontown such as Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Roger Rabbit, Jessica Rabbit, Minnie, Daisy, Pluto, etc, you may encounter other non-Disney toons show up sometimes. While Droopy Dog as bellhopper can lift guests up faster than speeding bullet during escalator scene as going up to the floors for their rooms. As guests will go different Toon rooms as the guests will look down their windows (projector screens) during their three day stay to check busy streets of downtown Toontown as spotting many Toons, falling anvils, safes and pianos, Eddie Valiant as cameo can be seen as falling down miles away into streets of Toontown, Willie the Giant climbing the toony Empire State Building, Mickey Mouse and Bugs Bunny are parachuting each other, the weasels are chasing Roger and Benny, as Toontown Police chasing after Mr. Toad, and many more! The guests are gonna love it staying their three day in Toon Hotel.

BABY HERMAN'S RUNAWAY BABY BUGGY RIDE
Baby Herman needs a new stuntman to do his part in new Maroon Cartoons short "Tummy Trouble" starring Roger Rabbit and Baby Herman, this takes place in St. Nowhere Hospital, this hybrid dark ride / wild mouse coaster ride will make a lots of wacky fun ride with sharp turns, drops, twists, special effects, etc... but watch out for mad doctors and nurses coming at you with your BIG shot needle! Location at Hollywoodland at Disney's California Adventure part of Maroon Cartoon Studios new themed area.

ROLLERCOASTER RABBIT

Maroon Cartoons is making new cartoon short called RollerCoaster Rabbit, and You'll be part of the cartoon scenes as stuntman, this wild roller coaster will make you scream go through wackiest scenes like Tunnel O-Laughs, Terror Tunnel, etc...this coaster will have sharp turns, drops, twists and turns spinning around like a falling car into the city. Join Roger Rabbit and Baby Herman's runaway coaster into the Toontown carnival fair as feature Toon cameos such as Droopy Dog and Jessica Rabbit, location at Mickey's Toontown at Disneyland.

HOLLYWOODLAND
Hooray for Hollywood! This reviving new themed land area who supposed to opened at Disneyland near by Main Street USA in 1999 along with great attractions: The Great Movie Ride, Superstar Television, Dick Tracy's Crimestoppers EMV dark ride, Baby Herman's Runaway Baby Buggy Ride and Toontown Transit simulator ride. It will have meet & greets like celebrity stars, Roger Rabbit, Eddie Valiant and Jessica Rabbit, and more. Hollywoodland is really set to open in 1999 here at Disneyland!

Judge Doom's Revenge
Based on Who Framed Roger Rabbit, As you are enter the abandoned ACME Warehouse in Los Angeles, which take place in five months after Judge Doom's defeated in 1947, as Judge Doom to return from the death also bring Toon Patrol weasels back to revenge on Roger Rabbit and Eddie Valiant, but you are one of his hunt to be killed, but you will need DIP gun machine to defeat Judge Doom and his Toon Patrol weasels but Roger and Eddie needs you help to destroy Judge Doom's evil plans, this wild dark ride will have scary parts such as the weasels return from death, Judge's chainsaw hands, anvil hands, saw hands, dip gun hand, one of Judge Doom's ACME gag products such as TNTs, bombs, anvils, safes and more! At the end of the ride, as Judge Doom rebuilds his Dip Machine truck to about to ready dip Toontown into his freeway to finishing his evil plans, now there was two endings: First is a good ending as you will shoot your dip gun to dipped him into the death forever again as Roger and Eddie dipped all weasels for good, as Toontown will be safe again for good. But there is another ending like a bad ending if you not stopped Judge Doom, he will dipped Roger Rabbit as Eddie Valiant got killed by one of the weasels if you missed dipped the one of weasels, Toontown been dipped and transformed into a freeway as Judge Doom wished for. This EMV dark ride is inspired by Buzz Lightyear and Indiana Jones. There will be more scary like Alien Encounter! Location in Hollywoodland at Disney California Adventure.

I love the enthusiasm and all the great ideas - but I'm only going to review the hotel prompt since that was the main challenge. Thank you again though for the efforts in all these other attractions!
