The Octopus
1618375807036.png

Under the sea there are many dangers to be found including the OCTOPUS who is the main threat of this brand new pinball table. The player must at first avoid the magnetic arms of the Octopus (messing up the ball's trajectory) to hit each of the treasure drop targets present throughout the table. After doing that and locking 3 balls in the Shark's cave, an epic multiball boss fight with the octopus (a toy) ensues which if players can keep the multiball going can lead to big jackpot points!

In this nautical themed machine, players have to find the missing pieces of Posideon's trident to reclaim his power over the ocean, earning it from tough challenges from the wild monsters of the depths. People like dragons, right? So how about a pinball game where the "balls" are actually bird eggs that you are tasked with knocking into the mouth of one of six hungry dragons? Just be careful not to let it fall into the "lava pit" at the bottom of the machine...

SANTA CRUZ BEACH BOARDWALK:
ATTACK OF THE GIANT SAND CASTLE

The Santa Cruz beach is being terrified by a gigantic, mutant sand castle, that threatens to consume the whole boardwalk! The pinball is made up of the destroyed pieces of the boardwalk, with a pair of planks acting as the flippers to launch the ball, with the sand castle at the top, where getting the ball into its "mouth" will earn high points.

Join Dwayne the Dude for a totally radical game of pinball, as you put your gnarly reflexes to the test in a seriously '80s SoCal sports contest, taking on challenges like surfing, rollerblading, and a Muscle Beach flex-off!
Like the 80s spin to this - as well as the Muscle Beach tie-in right next door, I think this would go over well!

Ha, amazing! I do like how you implement your favorites into these projects, that's what this game is all about in a way - so kudos!

Sounds intense! The sci-fi angle is interesting and would be an intriguing spin to this seaside pier arcade

Well this would be interesting - and it would include the California state animal haha - they way you set it up would seem to work well as a pinball machine!

I like the thought you put into this one! With the intricacies of the game itself, very nice job. This would also fit well with the seaside locale.

Cool concept - would it give flashbacks to the OJ chase though? Lol Kidding aside I like again how you used the locale surrounding it - would make for a great setting

This would be a neat setup! A bit tertiary of a concept but one I think would work as a pinball machine
I have never been to California, or America...

I assume you meant Santa Monica Pier? I'll chalk that up to not visiting the US haha. Though, it kinda messes with the theme of a Santa Cruz sand castle monster in Santa Monica - or maybe that was your plan all along? Santaception?
Wild Wave Shootout

A massive wave threatens to destroy the park and you and your pinball to stop it.
I wish you just gave a little bit more of a picture here. If not a literal picture, just a bit more description because this sounds like an interesting concept it's just very brief.

Step right up as a whole cadre of carnival games are given a mini-golf spin, all leading up to a grand challenge on the 18th hole with one simple rule: TEST YOUR STRENGTH TO WIN A PRIZE!
The carnival game theme is cute for mini golf. Plus it totally ties into the Beach Boardwalk. Would it feel too repetitive in a setting that already features so many carnival games?
The Roundhouse

Golf your way around obstacles in and around an old roundhouse and its workshop, where scoring a hole creates a reaction from these iron horses.

This new golf course takes you through giant versions of classical souvenirs, the perfect tourist trap.
The image you've chosen does a ton to communicate exactly what so, so many holes would be like. I instantly imagine what this would be like, and I love it!
To tie in with the beloved dark ride classic The Cave Train located near by, this mini golf course takes guests back to a caveman operated golf course that has plenty of fun obstacles to avoid such as belligerent dino being used as a slope, a sabertooth tiger trapped in the ground with its own teeth, and even a pterodactyl being used as a windmill.
This is the best tie-in to real Santa Cruz stuff, whether from already knowing the place or by researching. Either way, well done.

Though technically there are too many sentences here, the 1st one gets the whole point across. This submersible, semi-steampunk concept would nicely complement the existing pirate mini golf.

Venture into the Forbidden Jungle for a rousing game of miniature golf, with danger lurking around every corner - be they volcanoes about to erupt, hissing pythons, snapping crocodiles, enraged lions, or just an elephant with an attitude problem.
And another good topic. Can see this one realized in that funky, homespun Cave Train style.

A surprisingly classy, Shakespearean concept which demands to be explored in depth some day. I adore the detail about Yorrick on the 18th hole.
Bonus: Royal Castle Golf

A medieval castle welcomes you to a fantasy themed game of mini golf.
Feel that medieval castles are pretty much the classic, default mini golf theme. Eh, them and windmills.
