Did you mean Star Wars Launch Bay?

Nope! There is a theatre in Tomorrowland where a 4-D Show, Star Wars Path of the Jedi is showing. Right below Space Mountain.

Practice Prompt Results!
There were an absolute ton of quality proposals, making it really hard trying to select and rank the best.

A great idea alone is worth a lot in One Sentence Competition. So is a well-presented proposal. Our top finishers boasted a combo of each, and in such a crowded field many medal-worthy entries are sadly going unrewarded.

Please note, these scores do not count! I’m just simulating the idea!

Rift to San Fransokyo

RiftSF.png

After the proven success of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, any Star Wars themed attraction outside of Galaxy’s Edge is expected to close in order for new experiences to be created, beginning with Star Tours, as it’s expected to close in Spring 2020, in its place a Big Hero 6 themed attraction will be built; Rift to San Fransokyo will open in Fall 2021.

Hiro Hamada, genius inventor, winner of the EPCOT Achievement in Engineering, has been invited to the Disneyland Innoventions Expo to showcase the BayPort, the first ever fully functional Teleportation System, which will take the guests to San Fransokyo and back.

This experience is ensured to be one of a kind, as it will take guests through the mesmerizing Negative Zone, on a flight over the beautiful San Fransokyo, and maybe they’ll have the opportunity of meeting the Heroes of San Fransokyo, Big Hero 6; however, word on the street, is that the infamous Mr. Yama is planning on stealing Hiro’s technology, so be careful but don’t worry too much, because in case of an emergency, every BayPort is equipped with a Baymax Healthcare Companion.

Bonus:

Afterwards, Star Wars: Path of the Jedi will be closing in Fall 2020, to be replaced by Stitch Ohana Rescue, which will take guests across space to save the Stitch cousins that were kidnapped by the evil Dr. Hämsterviel, this attraction is set to open in Fall 2021.

Adventure Thru The Human Body
1.jpg

Taking the place of Star Tours: The Adventures Continue, and inspired by the previous holder of Adventure Thru Inner Space, and Star Tours' clone of Body Wars in Epcot - Adventure Thru The Human Body will be a futuristic quest through the pathways of the various systems of the body. At the Tomorrowland Medical Expo Center, you can be a test subject in a revolutionary new medical procedure where you can pilot nano-robots through the body to learn more about how the systems work. The Star Tours simulators will be replaced with 'Mission: SPACE' style simulators that seat 4 per cabin, and allow the guests to navigate themselves through the body rather than passively experiencing it, as you can guide your nano-robot through the hairpin turns of the glomerulus, fly through the intricacies of the liver, and ride a sensory slingshot up the spinal cord to a lobe of the brain, all with the goal of bringing back an immersive yet edutainment option for Tomorrowland as Walt originally envisioned it.

Bonus - Replacing Star Wars: Path of the Jedi will be Star Wars: Wrath of the Jedi...in 4D!

Pinocchio is a really original choice for a musical. Disney on Broadway performed it in London over the summer, but it wasn’t really that good! Pinocchio is something that if performed right, it would be an amazing. Hopefully some new songs will be added, as the movie lacks them.

The Disney Shows on the cruise lines are some of the best, and Pinocchio seems like a great choice to add onto the cruise ships musicals. Hopefully it turns out better than the current Pinocchio musical and Toy Story the Musical.

Effort is shown and this project is mostly original, with few things like this before. The show is something realistic and I feel that Disney could build this in the future! In the future, a little more detail will be greatly appreciated! Great first submission!

Bonus: None? Remember these are blue sky! Just try! You have nothing to lose!

Sorry, I forgot about the bonus part.

FLIGHT OF PROGRESS
The Carousel of Progress family is finally returning to Disneyland with a thrilling and eye-opening hovercycle tour of our ideal future cityscape, replacing Star Tours (and much of the backstage space behind it) with an aerial adventure into a great big beautiful tomorrow!

The queue updates the hopeful (and sadly lost) futurism of Horizons for a new century, with a journey through the new House of Tomorrow overlooking a chrome city's skyways and vertical farms, and climaxing with an animatronic pre-show directly inspired by Carousel of Progress's finale.

The ride begins in the Futureport, where the Flight of Passage ride system lets guests sail over a futuristic landscape of their choice (made possible with four IMAX theaters and branching queues) depicting man's colonization of Jupiter's moons, his exploration of the ocean floor, the burgeoning Los Angeles of 2118, or arctic zone agriculture in Antarctica.

BONUS
Replacing Paths of the Jedi will be Hiro's Robotics Expo, a 4D film and animatronics show presented by Hiro & Baymax (and pals), covering the history and future of robotics in an inspirational and humorous fashion.

Pigs in Space: Interplanetary Adventure
Pigsinspace222.jpg

Guests will soon be able to become passengers on the Swinetrek, as they are taken on an interplanetary journey through the cosmos, while visiting planets with some very... Muppety inhabitants. After walking through the Spaceport, guests will enter the Swine Trek and be faced with the three member crew (in animatronic form) and a new, larger viewport behind them. Guests are then whisked away on a journey that takes them to 3 of 7 possible planets, inhabited by favorite characters (Animal Planet, It's Not Easy being the Green Planet, Peprawnius, Rizzo's Totally Legitimate World of Wonders, Joe Key's, AMERICA The Planet, and The Great Gonzoland).

Bonus:
Space Mountain: Mission Control will immerse guests in a "holographic" mission control for space mountain, all while projecting some of the most glorious views picked up by "scouter ships"

Muppets Thru Outer Space!!

View attachment 270962

We first have to be honest with ourselves in the fact that Muppetvision 3D isn't going to return to DCA anytime soon but with saying that I don't think that having no Muppets in the entire resort is a good idea either considering all the work that Eisner went through to acquire them in the first place; therefore, the Muppets will take over the Star Tours building once Star Wars: Galaxy Edge opens to bring these lovable characters back to the park.

One thing that still fits the Tomorrowland theme (for now) is recreational space travel and Star Tours does that quite well (while also fitting in the Star Wars IP beautifully); the Muppets see this open opportunity as a chance for them to make their own space travel company to eventually build a new theatre on the Moon where their new shows will take place.

Muppets Thru Outer Space (As a mini callback to Adventures Thru Inner Space), will allow guests to load into a Muppet-fied rocketships (looking eerily similar to the Starspeeder), including a very important safety spiel from none other than Sam the Eagle, and have their brave captain, Gonzo the Great, guide them to the moon and back safely( about as "safe" as Gonzo can be) while showing the sights and sounds of the universe among us.

BOUNS:

Mickey's Philharmagic will finally make it's West Coast debut including new scenes from newer Disney Movies including Frozen, Moana, and more!

OSP 1: A Journey Through Time and Space.

Replacing Star Tours will be a magical adventure lead by F.O.U.R, (Function of Universal Relativity) the friendly robot who will take you on an adventure through time and space (and maybe even alternate universes) .

Similar to Star Tours this will be a randomized simulator ride where you will be whisked away to 3 different places in time and space per ride with a total of 12 different possible scenes including prehistoric dinosaur times, underwater cities of the future, various planets, a Steampunk Europe and more.

After F.O.U.R. returns you back to modern day Earth you can head out into the gift shop and pick up your very own F.O.U.R. plush or action figure to help you navigate your own universe.

Bonus: Replacing Path of the Jedi will be a 4D tour with Ralph and Vanellope through the internet.

PROMPT #1
DISNEYLAND PARK

b_Qh-qOj6ML6dGHqLb4wvkPcZUJAdQyine9KSndmJdE5S_CL0V7WqPG_c3vWAki16KfwYf0x_QgsFW3BtP5tpCTSdzswqQ0XGz21JkOfejpxb2i42401nlHdgV_veYBKX879xuLo

Your Disney Cruise Ship has just taken you to Walt Disney’s original Magic Kingdom, Disneyland Park. This magical kingdom is where your dreams come true, and you can get more happy as you sail with pirates, explore exotic jungles, meet fairytale princesses, dive under the ocean, and rocket through the stars.

-Background Information-
As some of us know, Disney is creating a tiny project called Star Wars- Galaxy’s Edge. This 14 acre land takes place on the original planet Batuu, which is “a remote outpost on the galaxy’s edge was once a busy crossroads along the old sub-lightspeed trade routes, but its prominence was bypassed by the rise of hyperspace travel”.

Meanwhile, lands away is Tomorrowland, a bustling galactic spaceport where you can fight the evil emperor Zurg or soar through a galaxy far far away.

Tomorrowland is full of Star Wars experiences, including Star Wars Launch Bay and the famous Star Tours- The Adventures Continue.

-Challenge-
Since Star Wars is getting its own land, it's time for Star Tours- The Adventures Continue to stop giving flights. Create a new ride to replace Star Tours- The Adventures Continue. Your only requirement is must still remain a simulator. But other than that, you are free to do whatever! Have an original character like Figment, or create an IP ride. Your choice! Have fun!

-Bonus-
Create a new movie to be shown where Star Wars Path of the Jedi is currently showing. It must use 4D effects and be themed to an IP. Describe in 1 sentence!

-Rules-
You may use between 1 and 3 sentences and up to 1 image. The deadline is Friday, March 23, 2018 at 11:59 EST. Critiques will come following.

-Please Note-
Critiques may not be posted immediately, since @disney forever and I will be working on them together. We apologize for the inconvenience.

-Tips-
K.I.S.S. – Keep it simple, silly. Try not to complicate or overthink things too much. It’s a simple, casual competition – there are no eliminations. Propose as you please!

-Judging Criteria-
Creativity- Is it creative?
Detail- Do you make the most of your sentences allotted? Do I understand what your submission is about?
Realism- Is it (generally) realistic? Is it something Disney will/could build? Are there patents related to your submission?
Theme- Does it fit thematically? Does it fit visually?
Originality- Is it original?
Effort- Is effort shown?

-Reminders-
This is the first prompt where you points will be added. As a reminder, everyone who submits something as well as follows the rules will get 1 point. 3 awards are given for each challenge. The three awards are Bronze (+1 points), Silver (+2 points), and Gold (+3 points). Everyone who submits gets a point, but Bronze, Silver, and Gold winners get additional points.

When using an IP, the IP must be owned by The Walt Disney Company (Disney Animation, Walt Disney Studios, Pixar Animation Studios, Lucas Films, 20th Century Fox, Marvel), OR it must be an original IP. No exceptions (unless otherwise noted)

Follow the rules, posted here!

Good luck everyone! If you have questions, don’t be afraid to ask. Now go imagineer!

Join dream finder in the technologically advanced, sci-fi version of the imagination institute.
Figment is lost in the Dreamscape, and you are going to accompany Dreamfinder (who replaces C3-PO as the animatronic at the front of the ship) for an exciting adventure into mind!
Full of Abstract imagery and imaginative visuals (With the same randomized sequence technology of Star tours so each ride is a new experience), this is sure to be an exciting trip that will revitalize the figment brand.

BONUS

A new film themed to the Figment will go into the theater to further develop the Dreamfinder/Figment mythology and its connection to Tomorrowland

Inspired by @AceAstro, I'm gonna do a theme to. Figment for everyhting! Unlike Muppets, Figment really doesn't fit most lands lol. So, I'm hoping for some funny rounds haha.
