Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza
CADD5745-10F5-4680-A20D-40A439211B78.jpeg

Opening at Universal CityWalk is the new and improved Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, the popular video game horror franchise is, for the first time, being brought to a theme park in a way that is not a direct copy of the original location but still pays homage to the games, the location is based off of the first 2 games and cameos from the other games. The menu consists of mainly different types of pizza ranging from the classic cheese pizza to a pirate themed pizza, overall the menu pays some fun callbacks to the games in some very interesting ways. But as we all know you need something to do whilst you wait for your food, join Foxy on his swashbuckling journey on the seven seas at Pirates Cove, rock out with Toy Bonnie at Toy Bonnie’s Music Studio, skate with Chica at the very first skating rink at a Fazbear location, or experience the tragic bite of 8– I mean meet the iconic Fredbear and Spring Bonnie, there are so many rooms to explore (and so many secrets to uncover) at this new location that isn’t anyway related to the past accidents at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza and is haunted by ghosts of dead children (find the springtrap in the back room).

Bonus: munch on this delicious cupcake (that isn’t made out of metal).

Far Far Away Feast

Located in the upcoming DreamWorks Land (in an available expansion plot), this new immersive dining experience will take guests into the world of Far Far Away, as seen in the Shrek movies. This is a character dining experience (and yes, it kinda parodies Cinderella's Royal Table at Disney, though this isn’t a buffet) where you can dine with Shrek, Fiona, Donkey, Puss in Boots, Gingy, and even Lord Farquaad. The food served here includes traditional American and some European dishes, and some specialty dishes (don’t forget the waffles).

Shrek's Swampy Surprise is a medium sized chocolate “lava cake” (a cake with a syrup/gooey filling in the center) with green caramel “goo” designed to look like Shrek's swamp, complete with an edible Shrek candy on top.

Serving as an Orlando adaptation of Japan's Pokemon cafe for Epic Universe's Pokemon expansion of Super Nintendo World, this cafe has a buffet style similar to a Japanese chain named Sweets Paradise which is a buffet with a focus on all-you-can-eat sweet desserts such as cakes, cookies, and ice cream with some savory options such as pastas, soups, curries, and salads, all themed to specific Pokemon and Trainers throughout the series such as Z-noodles, malasadas, Pikachu omelette rice, and Charizard spicy curry. There are special chef character variants such as Pikachu, Eevee, and a rotating throughout the day and week generation of starter Pokemon from each region

Pikachu's Shocking Buns

Universal Upgrades
Welcome back to the fifth spectrum of the One Sentence Competition: Prisms of Light!

-The Set Up-
The worthy 1st placer, @Disney Dad 3000, upon careful consideration, shined his beam of light on the next prism. It escapes the Disney Parks and floats to the rising Universal Parks…

Lately, the Disney-Universal war has been cranking up, especially with the additions of Epic Universe prepared to destroy WDW. Universal has begun to use Disney‘s age-old formulas that have been forgotten by their capitalism and have seen major success. A newer concept picked up has been character restaurants, like the Chocolate Emporium (there are some older ones, but they’re just plain bad). Easily, there’s space for Uni to just do another.

The Wubbulous Buffet of Dr. Seuss
The latest addition to Seuss Landing takes guests into the magnificent settings of Dr. Seuss books! Dining Rooms are themed to various books from the Wubbulous World, including a large dining room themed to Horton Hears a Who (with animatronic animals a la Rainforest Cafe). Throughout the day, character performers come out to tell/act out the stories they are from, plus the usual table rotations for meet/greets.
1714944167783.png
(definitely not as scary as this)
BONUS:
Desserts themed to the characters as well, especially like this:

In the expanse of Hollywood Rip Ride RockIt and the Music Plaza, Universal All Star Movies Backlot will be a showcase of EVERY movie the company (and its owned apprentices) has made since 1912 in restaurant form! It’s themed around a storage backlot where Easter Eggs to every universal owned movie can be found everywhere with some rooms themed around different movie types, and the menu consists of various food from the movies and even a few originals, and say hi to whoever pops over to your table! If this isn’t your thing, a Bar, theater that plays universal movies 24/7, interactive play area, gift shop and more can be found here as well!

IMG_0428.jpeg

As mentioned before, the menus consists of food from various Universal movies throughout the years with a few originals, but who wouldn’t like to eat A Shark Sandwich (based around JAWS) consisting of Meat, Meat, Meat and blue corn chip for the fins?

The Super-Supper Club

Oh, the stuff that you could eat at this new character dining experience in Seuss Landing, named after a song from The Cat in the Hat Songbook! As Sam-I-Am cooks up scrumptious dishes in the kitchen, other beloved Dr. Seuss characters such as the Cat in the Hat, the Grinch, the Lorax, Guy Am I, and even Fox in Socks (making his debut as a walkaround character) roam the restaurant, the walls of which are decorated with portraits and the mounted heads of unusual animals straight out of If I Ran the Zoo. The menu includes Strawberry Stroodles, Who Pudding, Schlopp (with a cherry on top), donuts, dumplings, Blueberry Bumplings, Chocolate Mush-Mush, Roast Beast sandwiches, and (of course) Green Eggs and Ham.

1714945144618.png
BONUS: No trip to the Super-Supper Club is complete without a slice of the Cat in the Hat Cake - a cake that looks like the Cat in the Hat's iconic red-and-white striped hat!

EDIT: I swear that I wasn't copying @imagineer97.

THE KRUSTY KRAB
The_Krusty_Krab.png

Bikini Bottom's "finest eating establishment ever established for eating" comes to Universal Studios Florida, built next door to Spongebob Storepants in place of the NBC Media Center, welcoming guests to enjoy the food and comedy of one of TV's most iconic restaurants. Mr. Krabs has expanded his lobster trap-shaped business for new diners, serving up his renowned Krabby Patties and a menu of other delicious meals from the sea bed, whilst being able to meet familiar fishfolk like Spongbob, Patrick, Squidward, and Mr. Krabs himself! But, his nemesis Plankton is still trying to steal the formula to the patties, in a hidden story sprinkled around the restaurant that guests can uncover and interact with, in order to thwart Plankton's schemes!

Bikini Bottom Bonus:

images

Jellyfish Cake Pops -- You catch jellyfish, and then you can eat jellyfish (or at least sweet-flavoured cakes on sticks resembling jellyfish!)

Battery Lounge
Men in Black Lounge.jpg

Livening up the table service dining scene at Universal Studios Orlando comes the new Battery Lounge, a Men in Black inspired restaurant built as an expansion to the left of the current MIB headquarters building within the park. Serving as an off-duty spot for agents and a way point for aliens passing through Earth, wait staff are appropriately attired as MIB agents as guests will enjoy this otherworldly dining experience in a sleek, clean setting among various monitors showcasing the main halls of headquarters and monitored channels from planets across the galaxy. A few well-placed simple animatronic aliens are scattered around the restaurant with some living it up, and others at their own uniquely placed table settings out of reach of guests while roaming characters from the films in the form of agents and an alien or two mingle with guests for an experience they'll soon forget.

Bonus:
Alien dessert.png

Among the various dessert items are Alien Shots, a collection of alien looking, yet edible concoctions piled into generously sized shot glasses that can be slurped, sipped, or eaten depending on your selection.

The Winchester Tavern

shaun of the dead.jpg

Zombies on the big screen are fun, but just wait until you get a taste of the comedically horrifying sensations within The Winchester Tavern from Shaun of the Dead, which will replace Mel's Diner at Universal Studios Hollywood. Inside, guests can dabble in many delightful meals and sip some of the finest pints while Shaun interacts with guests through stand-up comedy, reenactments of some of the thrills during his survival, and even by encountering a zombie or two. Now, while having two pubs within walking distance from each other in a theme park sounds like a blast, it causes a bit of a redundancy, meaning Mulligan's Pub will be shutting its doors to become extra space for the Horror Nights maze that resides in that area every year.

Bonus: Bloody Cricket Bat Eclair

Resembling the first item Shaun used to kill his first zombie, guests can order a strawberry-filled eclair with deep red strawberry glaze and pistachio bits to resemble zombie guts.

Me: oh how the tables have turned.
(turns table)
Me: Who’s eating who’s brains now. HAHAHAHAHAH—.
(Coughs violently because I have a cold at the moment)
Me: Yep, this meal is going to kill me.
Statler: Does that means you don’t have to watch the muppet show.
Me: Yes?
Waldolf: Give me that food, maybe I’ll get lucky.
Statler and Waldolf: DOHOHOHO.
