Saw this rumor on Reddit. If it's true, what would you like to see them do with Heimlich? Retheme? Keep the bugs? What park? Turn it into a dessert party character m&g/movie preview center?

If they're keeping the bugs, animal kingdom sounds like the best bet. But a Bug's Life is almost 20 years old now, so a retheme to a more relevant property makes the most sense to me.

A Bug's Land is always the least crowded part of DCA, they might be preparing for a retheme like Pixar Pier.
Yeah, Bugs Land is closing and being demolished for Marvel Land. Flik's Flyers is moving to Pixar Pier. So the rest of the rides are up for grabs if any parks wanna save them from being demolished lol

DAK does make most sense if they stay bug's. I could see Heimlich weaving around the roots and base of the tree of life with a focus on the natural environments there rather than oversized food.

I say bring Chew Chew Train to AK and have it go around the Tree of Life.
That's definitely my vote for it too

The area behind the Tree of Life is a great relaxing spot. It is relaxing mostly because it is deserted. There would be plenty of room to do Heimlich behind Tree of Life/the Tough to be a Bug Overflow queue (which is well themed already and never used). That still keeps the animal trails and the view of the tree from the entrance mostly untouched. But adds an extra attraction to the park that is fun and unique and family focused. Plus, what Disney park couldn't use a few more B/C-Tickets to help round it out?

Anyone else remember that Oz playground?

The fact that, even just looking at the playground itself, that temporary one is leagues better than the new permanent one is sad.

Oh yeah, that was a movie! Remember when Disney partnered with Temple Run to promote it?
Temple Run? That's a blast from the past lol. Used to love that one

Yeah, they made a separate game which was just Temple Run, but with a Oz theme, they also did that with Brave.

And, while not Disney (yet), Angry Birds did a promotional game with Rio. As well as Star Wars and Transformers.

Mobile games are pretty marketable.
Angry Birds Star Wars was amazing! Hadn't heard about the other ones. That's really a neat way to promote stuff
