of course the Google earth imagery is from Jan, so i cannot see if there is anything stocked outside of the ride building... although you can see all the Logs from Splash out in the sunlight while Splash was down for annual...

I assume it's possible they've somehow been building the Disneyland caves and a second drop and this one day is to just connect the new flume with the old one?

I was there Nov 19-24. I usually ride POTC 2 or 3 times per visit but it was closed 3 different times I tried to ride. Managed to get in once which seemed to be a miracle.
