I actually like the fact that this is closing the park. A bedtime story and then the kiss goodnight is a beautiful, incredibly enchanting concept and I'm surprised it took this long to use it.

Interesting question since the Halloween CTM will be finished on 10/31. Does that mean a Christmas version of this new show during MVMCP or do they return to the Christmas themed CTM?
It wont be on party nights.

I've never been to a Halloween or Christmas party at MK before.. Is there normally a special version of Celebrate the Magic on those nights?

Trying to remember. Hallowishes is, of course, a different fireworks show and is narrated by the Ghost Host. I think CTM is the same show whether party or not themed for the season.

Last year CtM certainly did play on party nights. Do you have specific information why its replacement won't?

I'm not sure if they'll add as much pyro as Tokyo's, but at the very least I hope this show introduces and incorporates the laser tech and searchlights that Tokyo does. Honestly, Magic Kingdom is in desperate need of updating their nighttime show techology. So far, it's the only Disneyland-style park that does not use them. The lasers and searchlights do a great job at giving the castle visuals a little pop, especially the searchlights since they "take up" the blank sky space flanking the sides of the castle.

Not for the Halloween party. They just run the normal projection show between the Sanderson Sisters and Hallowwishes.

Agreed I like this far more compared to Ctm which was a little gimmicky in its use of castle projections. More for effect less for a story.

I think those spotlights are from the stage. Might be too small.
Anything else you noticed? More Pyro than the MM&Y/CTM Finale? Do the projections look the same as TDL'S? Are they TDL'S?

I'm just tying to picture the logistics of this happening after Wishes . . . People gathered to watch CtM, then had to wait about 10 min or so after that ended until Wishes began, and then immediately after Wishes there was a mass exodus. If Wishes is at 10:00 and OUAT doesn't start until 10:45, that's a long time for everyone to be squished in front of the castle waiting. And, if many still exit after Wishes while many others maintain their spots to watch OUAT, there will be quite a traffic nightmare!

What I know so far is this: besides the searchlights, we're getting Tokyo's projections, undoubtedly (variations, if any, are currently unknown). We go straight from the intro to the Cinderella segment (apologies to Alice and Rapunzel fans). And yes, Frozen right out the gate. They haven't done pyro tests yet (they were also rehearsing Most Merriest at the same time).
