Ok,when does it finally hit you when you realise " were there at last " Is it when you get to your resort? Or when you see something that brings back memories ? For me it's when i arrive at my resort,it's like coming home to the place you love.My DW loves to see the castle from end of main st USA.She just stands there for a few moments to take it all in.Your thoughts please.:) This has probably been discussed many times in these threads but with so many of us going in the next few months, just want to hear your answers.

The title of your post fooled me. I was excited for you that you had arrived. I know you have been posting about your upcoming trip, So I looked on How many days left post to see if you were close.
For us it comes first when we see the first palm tree after landing in Orlando, then as ME bus goes under the Welcome to WDW sign, then it really hits when we enter MK to the unique sounds of Main St music and look up to see the castle.

Believe it or not, the Disney *vibe* hits me as soon as I hear the flight attendant say "Welcome to Orlando", then walking thru the airport and seeing the DME desk, I know, for atleast a week, I'm *home* ;)

Oddly enough..I will expierence this for the first time Labor Day weekend...Lived in Daytona 19 years...every trip since then Ive driven...until this labor day

For sure, I even start getting the *vibe* when I've reached the airport at home before the flight to Orlando (I'm usually spotting all the people in their wdw shirts already)

I start getting really excited on the airport tram. I see all of the people going the opposite way and I think "their vacations are over and mine is just starting!". But after that, I know there's more waiting - we still have to go get our rental car, drive to the resort (the excitement builds even more when we pass under the big Disney sign), check in, and take our stuff to the room. I think my biggest "we're finally here!" moment is probably when we scan our passes the first time, walk into the park, and hear the music. Ahhhh...no more waiting!

ONLY 49 DAYS TO GO!!! :D
