My fiance has an old baby receiving blanket she has had since a child. I believe her mom got it in Japan while she lived there but she does not remember. Does anybody know who made this or where she could of gotten it? Here is a link to a picture of the blanket.

Thanks, I will try that. I've been looking for hours and just no luck. I think it's too old to locate any existence of it anymore.

I still have the entire crib set (sheets, receiving blanket, bumpers and comforter)
from my oldest daughter (she just turned 22). We bought the set in Sears here in NY in the 80's. This was the original Disney Babies set.

Not old, just vintage.
I am pretty sure I had sheets like that when I was a baby. I'm 26 now but I think I've seen remnants my mom kept from that set.

As I said before I have the entire set and it's packed away in the original zip plastic bag (there is no lace trim on them). It's not for sale as it belongs to my daughter & is being saved for her to use when the time comes. I tried to dig it out, but it's too far back in the attic.

I have the sheets and I believe the receiving blanket put away too for my future grandchildren. I'm pretty sure we got ours from Sears.

The Baby Disney sets were still in existence in the early 90s - my son's nursery had a baby Disney theme. But I, just like tigsmom and Nemo 14, am saving them for my (someday, I hope) grandchildren. I even have a lamp with a sleeping baby Mickey on the base. Of course, they won't use the crib bumpers, but might be able to convert them to a different use.

I didn't get the matching lamp, but I do have a beautiful Winnie the Pooh one that plays music ( that matches the Winnie the Pooh nursery set that I have also saved).
