Ok maybe its because its very early here(the little one had to wake up at the ungodly hour of 5am) but she was sitting on my lap and we were watching some different disney rides and parades on the computer..well Im sitting here balling my eyes out..now we've been so many times see the parade and such many times as well and yes i cry every single time i walk through the main gates and see cinderellas castle and take in main street that first time, I cry when I hear the music for the SADCT parade , I cry when I see mickey ...well my thing is does it ever stop?? Do you ever (well for those who are super-emotional like my self, my poor husband!!) Do you ever not get so emotional every time you see these things and yes the list could go on...feel free clue me in...

12 more days till i get my magical fix for my 30th bday!!!!!:sohappy:

I hear ya. I do the same thing. Sometimes, if I'm having a particularly bad day, the commercials even get to me.

I do the same things. I get soooo emotional over Disney. I watch the videos over and over on this site...water in the eyes and all. When I walk into any park at Disney, it's the same...water works!!!
I have all digital pictures of the parks. This year (May) I'll be taking videos but never have in the past. I wish I had more videos of the parks to view. So if anyone cares to make a 42 year old man cry....just send me vids....

I get all misty eyed everytime upon arriving that I set foot aboard the train in Magic Kingdom. I love every thing about going to Disney and think I get emotional about it because while there Im free to let me "adult" guard down and let the little kid in me come out and play. It's very soothing to be on vacation there no matter how busy the parks may be because its a place that we want to be in.

I look forward to my next trip back and happily will day dream about it everytime the sun hits my face in the morning while driving to work or school :king:

Just walking by the Disney Store does it for me.
It's the smell of the merchandise. It automatically transports me to any store on WDW property. It's almost more than I can take!

When I'm at WDW seeing the castle in the distance on the way to the ferry for the first time, does me in!

But here's the thing:
This feeling better never go away!
I intend to feel the same way about WDW forever!

Dixiegirl! Have a great trip and a magical 30th Birthday!

Sure do!! It happens here also. I get all emotional even when I see a commercial for Walt Disney World come on tv. The worst though is when we have to actually leave Magic Kingdom on our last night before we come home. We watch the fireworks over the castle on main street and my husband and myself are standing there with tears running down our faces. We only get to go once a year and I'm at least happy we can do that and have these boards to kind of live a little disney in between. We leave in 7 days for pop century!!! Can't Wait!!

Every time i go i start to get terie(sorry bout spellin) eyed and get goose bumpes. I think its because it brings back so many memories of your family and friends. The first time that i went there(im 13 now and my first time was like a year ago) I remember thinking why the whole world couldnt be like this, no crime, no terrorism, just everyone friendly to eachother. It is like stepping into another world. It just brings back so many memories.

It's too much for me...

Does anyone get bummed out before they go to WDW? I plan so far ahead and anticipate the trip so much, that as the trip gets closer, I'm already sad about it being over. My DH thinks I'm crazy!

Hey I like your name dixiegirl, lol! Anyways, yes I get that way too. My family and I just got back from Disney Wolrd less than a week ago. Now everytime a disney commercial comes on I get sad and wish I was back there. Now that's bad!

Actually, can't say that I've ever cried at Disney World... Unless I was mad or something, back when I was younger. Although I will agree, SallyShine, throughout the trip I keep remembering how many days are left, and that kinda bums me out.

any time I'm at the Magic Kingdom (i.e. as soon as I pass under the train tracks onto Main Street), I haven't a care in the world. There's nothing there but happiness and I can't help have a smile on my face.

It's the pixie dust in the air, no doubt.

So I'm not as crazy as everyone thinks I am. I can't get enough Disney. My mother says I eat, sleep, and breathe Disney. I have been to Disneyworld 3 times and have so many incredible memories with my two little girls. We don't get to go again until November 2007 but I've already got my planning notebook set up and getting the planning started. I just got our paper clips out to start our countdown chain. We do one for every week and take one off every Friday. When I get stressed I just pull up one of my favorite disney sites and look at other people's pictures or pull out my huge tub of disney memories.
