Just reading these posts is making me misty eyed. My DH thinks I am crazy but he loves me so he puts up with it. He likes WDW also just not as much as me.

I have gotten teary eyed during Wishes before.
When it comes to the commercials on tv, I get sad, because I want to go, but then it turns into excitement, for my next trip, no matter how close or far away it may be. I have gone into the Disney store and whatever may be playing on the screen has given me goosebumps or made me a little teary eyed before.

Does anyone get bummed out before they go to WDW? I plan so far ahead and anticipate the trip so much, that as the trip gets closer, I'm already sad about it being over. My DH thinks I'm crazy!

Even though Dh is as much a disney nut as I am, he doesn't get really excited about a trip until a day or two ahead of time. For me, the anticipation is such a big part of the excitement. So yeah, I know exactly what you mean. I haven't even left yet, and I'm upset about coming home. All the planning, packing, list making - it goes on and on for weeks even months, and then all of sudden it's over. Bummer!
I guess I just want to be in a constant state of either getting ready to go to WDW or actually being in WDW.
Your Dh is right. You are crazy. So am I! And I wouldn't have it any other way!

I cry every a little every time I see Wishes, even on video.
Ditto. Although, the last time I see it on my trip, I always start bawling like a stupid little baby... I really should stop going to the MK on my last nights in WDW!!

And just reading these posts while thinking about the EE Preview that is on right now is making me cry!!! Granted, I am now in hour 31 of work since yesterday at 8:00 A.M. (4 hours to go home, sleep and come back), with no end in sight, so I'm probably more emotional than normal... :lookaroun

I love Disney World and will be going back this summer either June or August. I have been many times, but this years visit will be very emotional for me. Thats because the first time I ever went to Disney was with my mom and dad and now they have both passed away. My mom who loved to travel, loved Florida and brought me to Disney many times recently passed away last month after a long illness. I usually get msity eyed when I see main street but this year I will experience alot of emotions, being at Disney and thinking about when I first went way way back. ( yes, I still have paper tickets in my scrapbook) I will be taking my daughter, who has also now gone many times so hopefully her memories will be as wonderful as mine.
