I'm back home now, but it was fun. Word got out to some of the kids, so they came by to say hi while I was there. Awwwww....

I saw that too. Actually I got $90 fares yesterday for a December trip!

They're supposed to be announcing JetBlue coming in here sometime today, so we might be in for some great little price wars!

We've been hearing that as well for a while but it hasn't happened yet - I would love to have a choice! US Air flies to Orlando out of Islip but it's not direct.

I flew JetBlue home into LaGuardia last year - the flight was great (it went SO FAST with the kids watching iCarly) - but the drive home was just too long. 45 minutes from LaGuardia (IF you don't hit traffic on the Belt Parkway which is a BIG "if") vs. 5 minutes from Islip. No contest, really.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- JetBlue will fly from T.F. Green Airport in Warwick to Fort Lauderdale and Orlando in Florida starting Nov. 29, officials announced Wednesday at a State House news conference.
Initial fares are to be $75 one way to either destination.
I am soooooo jealous!
