It was worth the dollar we paid to see it. Some funny zombie references - a certain poster here would love it.

How about you?

I'm pretty behind in my movie-going this month/year. Only 3 films I've seen this year on the big screen are:
-The Avengers
-Dark Knight Rises
&
-Finding Nemo 3D

Loved them all, but 3 films by November is a bad year for me. Need to get out more.

(love the editing)

We really don't do movies often at all. I did see The Muppet movie (or was that last year?), the Odd Life of Timothy Green, Brave, and regetably, Ted.

I want to see Argo, but I'll wait til it comes to the cheap theater.

I'm finally caught up!! 5 pages of zombie humor is a lot to take in one sitting. Thanks Nemo14 for posting my countdown!! We are definitely getting close - hoping we have power back before we leave. We were able to score a generator today - my hubby is going to hook it up tomorrow. The kids and I are sleeping at a friend's house with power. Last night it was in the 50s and the house didn't get above 60 today - we just couldn't do it another night. We are definitely thankful our only loss was power - there is a lot of devastation around us so it's hard to complain. One thing is for certain - it is going to be NICE to get away on vacation next week!!!

Hey stranger! I was worried about you!
My son doesn't have power yet either, so he actually didn't know how bad it is in some parts. He's figuring that they'll probably get power tomorrow. Apparently half the town does have it back now.

I just got an e-mail from a friend about how eye-color and personality are related. Apparently I'm intelligent and mysterious.....

So we still have no power but we finally found a generator. My hubby the electrician wired it into the panel so the whole house has power and heat. If he turns on the breaker in that room. The kids and I are staying at me parents (also no power but have a generator) since he just finished hooking it up. Now we just need to get gas which is a horror show. I happened to drive by a gas station today getting a delivery so I joined the line and only had to wait a half an hour. You can only fill your car and one portable container. Cops were there to prevent fights and enforce the line rules. Most gas stations don't have gas. It's totally nuts. Should improve by Sunday. Did your don get power yet? nassau is apparently much worse! Thanks for posting my countdown - I neeeeeeeeed this vacation!!!!

No, he still has no power or heat. They have power at his work though, so he's able to get hot water there. Glad you're gettig things under control. Just keep thinking about your vacation in just one week!

They let people in to see their homes down at the real beach today - pretty grim. One road was impassable because there was a house sitting in the middle of it.

Thanks!!! I fear I may not get to post my own countdown at all!!

My neighbor called LIPA again today and they told her Wednesday. Interestingly enough, my sister knows 3 people that work at LIPA that live in different areas not far from her and they all had power back by Tuesday night. Guess my next job needs to be for LIPA...

Packing a bag tomorrow to go with my parents (they drive so I send the heavy stuff with hem - toiletries, sunscreen, anything that can leak, one days worth of clothes, etc.) less than a week - woohoo!!!

I hope your son gets power back son - ts getting so cold at night now - they really need to work faster at getting people back online.

Yay! You're really going to love WL!

My son still has no power - he was going to see if they'd let him sleep at the shop last night.

Still no power for my son - at least he gets to warm up at work. And now my husband is under the weather.... it's going to be a long day in the Nemo house.
