I don't talk that way, but apparently I do have an accent. My son-in-law's family though, they're so Bostonian. We nearly needed a translator at the weding.

When I went away to school (Boston University) people I met didn't say "where are you from", they said "where in New York are you from". I didn't think I had much of an accent either so it was a bit annoying. But then again I watch GoodFellas or the Sopranos and don't think those people have accents either.

That is EXCELLENT news - thanks for the update!! We're all hoping this is just a minor issue and will not turn into something worse. Don't rush anything - that's the beauty of being retired - you've got nowhere to go and all day to do it!!
