I let the dog out earlier and it was dark in the yard - totally freaked me out when he took a few minutes to come back. This thread makes me scared of my own shadow!!!!

Hmm, I just don't understand. Why would this thread make you scared of going into the yard in the dark? Strange indeed.

Did I ever mention there was/is a small graveyard around the corner from my parent's house? It's just 2 headstones and footstones in a small fenced area between two houses. I have no idea who or why there are people buried there, but they are there. Anyway, when the Michael Jackson "Thriller" video came out I used to have nightmares that those ghouls were coming to get me. One night it was raining pretty hard and the pine tree outside was hitting the window and I was convinced it was skeletons knocking on the window.

No worries, you should be able to handle the situation with just a handful of resurrected corpses. I think that an assault shotgun would handle them with little effort. Just remember to aim for the head.

We have the family cemetary in the back field behind the house I grew up in. 5 generations of my family there.....

We got drive thru from McDonalds and had a Super Mario Brothers marathon. Your night sounds SIGNIFICANTLY more exciting (although it was fun!!)

We celebrated Octoberfest early since we're all going in different directions in October. The couple that hosted this time are fantastic cooks, so we had a ton of German food. I brought a Black Forest cake- that's about as close as I get to ethnic cooking....

I'm so sick of looking for curtains I could scream! The problem is I like the ones I have - they're just old and getting a little shabby looking from so many years of use. But I can't find anything even similar to them, so I think I'm just going to attempt to make some. It can't be that hard....

So I had an extremely realistic dream last night, due I AM SURE to this thread:

The Disney Parkes Blog announced the creation of "The Ghoul School", a place near Haunted Mansion that follows in the tradition of the Bibbity Bobbity Boutique and Pirate's League where foolish mortals can be transformed into Ghoulish mortals. Packages were to include the Zombie makeover, as well as many other dead and undead transformations.

We then encountered the zombie apocalypse and were holed up on TSI trying to determine which we're real zombies and which were the made up tourists. Rsoxguy was encouraging us to shoot first and sort it all out later.

I hate this thread.

How do curtains get shabby looking? All they do is "hang" there. It's not like they can really get dirty or or ragged. I guess a washing here and there may get the dust out, but not really enough wear and tear from laundry to amount to anything.

Perhaps add some sheers behind them to freshen up the look?

It involves 2 cats who like to peer out the windows.....

Actually I decided I really only need to redo the one on the door window, and that won't be hard at all. The others have been washed numerous times, but I think if I spray starch them it will be all they need. Like I said, I'm just tired of looking - I thought this would be easy.
