Oh, those poor Ingalls girls...

As strange as it seems though, the wildest of my siblings and I when we were kids have turned into the most resposible adults, although still a little wacky.

My kids still refer to a couple as their crazy uncles, so I don't think they've changed a lot.

My second oldest brother and I have always been very close, but together we were probably responsible for 98% of my mom's gray hair. Now we're the ones she depends on. Go figure.

I grew up with nothing but boys and sports all over the neighborhood. It's not easy being the only girl around a buch of boys with their dumb sports, air guitar and Donkey Kong. But it pays off in the teen years. :)

I'm afraid that it was all a big misunderstanding. They thought that you were stating that I would be giving away licorice twists. It's obvious that you need to communicate your thoughts in a clearer way when you post. I know, have me proofread your work from now on.

Was that about Ocho?

The show itself is 5 weeks inside training camp - but yes last night's episode had the release of Chad Johnson (he dropped the Ochocinco nonsense and went back to Johnson!). It was brutal how they produced the episode - they kept having little interviews with him saying how he was determined to help the team, and he's not a bad guy, blah blah blah. Then the arrest. Then the release. As much of a really, really big jerk he is if he did what he was arrested for, I still felt bad seeing him get released. Guess I would have felt different seeing his wife's busted up face. It was also rough watching David Garrard excel in the QB competition knowing he was going to blow out his knee and need surgery. Feel bad for him - his body just doesn't want him to play football.

First cup of coffee didn't take. Gotta go get another one.

I guess I can't complain - I've had the same prescription for at least 3 years, so it was probably time.

I can't remember the last time my prescription changed. The eye doctor always laughs at me and says, "you know, you really don't need to wear glasses...you're just one step away from regular glass." Um, yes I do. Things far away are blurry. I started wearing them when I used to go to hockey games all the time (my friend and I had Rangers season tickets) and I couldn't see the puck.

By the way, from the looks of the sky outside my office I believe the zombie apocalypse may be upon us. We don't have any frying pans but I do have a nifty little shovel close by.

Yeah - I didn't need them for a long time, then my age started catching up with me....

We had some wld weather early this morning - heavy rain, thunder, lightning, and even a waterspout out on the bay. It's nice right now, but we'll be getting round 2 tonight.
