I took a half day of work today - the kids and I are going to the house of my friend that I have known since I was 3. Her house is an oasis - they have central air (which is a big deal to me!) but they have this magnificant pool with lush foliage and a waterfall. She always makes iced tea and serves it in wine glasses. Our kids are the same ages so run off to play and we don't hear a peep. I call her backyard my happy place. Considering it will be a heat index of over 100 today I am going to need that happy place!!

This is part of why I am making camp in DTD. No security check to smuggle my weapons past.

Plus Goofy's candy place. If you eat all the fudge before I get there, zombies won't be your biggest problem mister!!!

Definitely need to set up a candy supply chain once the base camp is secure. Fortunately, fudge is realtively easy to make as long as we have the supplies and some form of heat. I'm fairly confident we could continue making fudge even after zombies over-run the joint.

I hear Twinkies may be hard to come by though.
