Oh and by the way....my dog is FINE. His leg healed - totally. He runs around the yard full sprint chasing squirrels (you know, the ones that ate all my peaches!!) The break happened 5.5 weeks ago (when they gave him 2-3 weeks). The said it wouldn't heal if it were cancerous. We're thinking he had a fracture there from something else (I remember him falling down the last few steps at some point in the past few months) and that was causing the haze on the x-ray? We don't know - and we're not going to take him to the vet for fear of bad news! We're just taking it day by day...but it's nice to have this extra time to appreciate him more!

My flight that I want home was originally $175 but one earlier in the day was $130 so I booked the earlier one and figured I'd swich if/when that later flight came down in price. So then the later flight went up to $274, then $277, and now today it's down to $239. Still an extra $109/person to switch. I'm wondering if I should, or should wait some more? I'd hold out a little longer I think. It's hard to tell with the prices right now. Southwest is still matching those $75 flights here, but once that promotion ends, I'm sure the prices will go insane again.

I've wanted to ask you how he's doing, but didn't want to bring it up if it was bad news. So glad he's healing well!

Thanks - I didn't want to say anything thinking I would jinx his recovery but he is TOTALLY back to his normal self so I figured it was a good time for an update!

That's what I was thinking...it's still 4 months away so a lot can happen. It's not like I'm not already booked - just not the time I want!

i love little house on the prarie :) its one of my favorite shows :) also i love hood diary :) :) i look forward to trips to boston and the cape because of hood dairy :)

Yeah, I also like Boston. It's just that I ran into a bit of trouble with the undead the last time that I was there.
