So the first 2 nearly-ready cucumbers from the garden disappeared over successive nights last week. We found the remains of both under the tree in the backyard, so we strongly suspect this guy:

I think that guy may also be responsible for the mauled bodies behind the shed.

Fresh tomatoes, cucumbers and corn on the cob for dinner! Best thing about summer!!!!


That's awesome! My tomatoes aren't even thinking of turning red yet. Grr. I did, however, make several jars of pickles yesterday with all my cucumbers. YUM!!!

A couple of years ago, we picked our first ripe tomato on the first of October. 2 weeks later we had our first frost of the season.
