Trip Report OH NO!!! I’m out of BASIN Body Butter

So what is a lady to do when she realizes she just ran out of Basin Body Butter. Not realizing that the last one opened was the LAST ONE.

Basin ships but it is pricey. Next best thing is to go to WDW to remedy the shortage-4 sleeps and HELLO BASIN and HELLO BODY BUTTER. Who needs more than 4 days to book and plan right?

Grandpa, Mother and Father of 2 little boys were riding Soarin. Grandma near seated in Seasons left to watch her Grandsons.

4 year old is messing big time with his baby brother trapped in high chair. Big Brother is squeezing baby’s cheeks together extremely hard then grabs him with one hand squishing the babies mouth. The baby is squirming to get away. The Big brother start pulling baby’s hair and proceeds to give baby a noogie.

Grandma is doing what? Nothing. She is seated between the boys and video taping the entire thing and smiling.

The other adults return and Grandma proudly shows the Mom Dad and her husband her video. Mom takes 4 year old out of ear shot and has a conversation with him about hurting his brother on purpose. Dad goes to baby to look at mouth and head and tries to cheer up baby. Grandma tries to defend her video vs doing anything to help the baby to Grandpa her husband. Grandpa wasn’t having any of it.

Son in law looked So ticked and angry at Grandma when she showed the video. Guess Grandma won’t be allowed alone with Grandchildren again

Yep. No. We last had gotten off SSE. It is just shy of a mile from front tap to International tap point. And another 1/4 mile from exiting Epcot to the bus loop at the backside of. That is a lot of walking to get to a transportation bus.

Plus likely if it was raining it would take longer than going out the front and just a couple blocks to bus hub. I always exit Epcot from the side I’m on when transferring parks or ending day. Only swishy when I’m near the Odyssey distance I don’t need the extra steps especially when it is hot and humid times.

Me Disney was building the Rivera a long time and planning even longer. Why do they never proactively plan-out bus new bus stops.

Best I can tell nothing has changed beyond cover the area up that are being refreshed.

Wasn’t crowded so it didn’t make a difference

There are still a lot of Christmas Lights on the castle. Haven’t seen crane up during park hours though so there is that. Also guests have been allowed to walk through the castle more Often this week

I misplaced my DD and for a few minutes just hung in the entrance area. It is impressive how well this all came together and how they embraced the Original design.

Still needs a topiary though. This is pretty but Blah Pretty

This trip happened to be exactly same time as last year by accident. Neither were planned. This popped up the other day from last year on my Timeline

That was a chilly vacation for Florida but nothing like it was back home last year.

I have a thing for Donald and he does lack Temper control.

I love but how would I drink coffee from it. Can only have so many candy dishes. Only so much flat space.

The new security checkpoint on the IMAGINATION parking side of EPCOT is moving very fast.

As is the new bag check at AK which will mirror the other structures at the entrance of AK.

The bus side of the monorail security looks to be complete and small plants are in. Pretty but very fresh mulch setting my allergies off

Breakfast at Ale & Compass was so darn good! And the experience was so Horrid. 830 am and restaurant was at best 25%. So many CMs galore. Forever to get coffee and every stage of the food. The refill of coffee came as we were leaving. Trying to just get the check took forever along with coming back for payment and returning my card.

We had the same poor service when we ate there too! But, the food was good so we will probably go back

Blurg. I just don’t get Disney’s staffing. 3 lanes open at Gateway Epcot and the slowest Security known to man. My Chapstick was intriguing. 6 tables unstaffed. Annoying.

This might have worked for the Lake resorts but once you dump all The Gondola resort guests back here...it is a fail. It isn’t like there isn’t unused bag check tables.

America came through. The Beef Wellington was very good. A kudos for how difficult it is to pull this off in a hut kitchen. The meat was fork tender and pastry crisp and flaky.

However @Bob won’t like. Fungus in there!

We almost forgot to pop into Awesome Planet as there was nobody was waving Chocolate at us.

The film was very good and upbeat. Wasn’t too preachy more toned to reminder over lecturing.

NOTE: While you enter on the first floor if you don’t pay attention where you sit and move forward in the theater and use the closest exit you will dump out into Sunshine Seasons seating area in the far back corner nearest to Living with the Land. You need to be able to use stairs from lower-front exits. The final is a staircase that is extremely steep so be mindful if anyone in your party has mobility issues or traveling with little kids. It truly is a hold the railing staircase. The better option is to stay put in the upper area of theater if your party has any issues with stairs.

While I enjoyed the film it isn’t a must do draw. We travel to WDW several times a year so maybe once a year sort of visiting. I’ll likeysave for hiding from a pop up thunderstorm.

These Butterflies have been a Photo Op at Universal Studios already for a few years. It is an Oh Disney moment for me of please don’t go there.

The butterflies are cute but it bothers me when it isn’t Disney’s creativity.
