Trip Report OH NO!!! I’m out of BASIN Body Butter

So what is a lady to do when she realizes she just ran out of Basin Body Butter. Not realizing that the last one opened was the LAST ONE.

Basin ships but it is pricey. Next best thing is to go to WDW to remedy the shortage-4 sleeps and HELLO BASIN and HELLO BODY BUTTER. Who needs more than 4 days to book and plan right?

Public Service:

Disney Springs bound from EPCOT.

Apparently since the Rivera opened we were told that bus locations were shuffled around again. The DISNEY SPRINGS transfer bus at EPCOT now shares space with offsite buses that service Hotel Blvd across from Disney Springs.

Know this transfer stop to SPRINGS is no longer covered and guests are left to stand in elements without shelter from rain or sun.

Yes MCO. Everything actually went smoothly with my flight. It departed early and landed early, and it took me 30 minutes from work to get to BWI. Then I got my suitcases, went across, and my MB, which is old, worked to scan me in. Highly suspicious. ME Bus will probably break down. I can't be this lucky.

Saturday was misty and light rain and then misty until early afternoon. After our lovely breakfast at the new Riviera Restaurant (more on that resort to come) we ultimately headed to the MK road Haunted, Pirates and then Thunder. I was hungry again. It was 6 hours since we were had our early seating at Toppolino

DD found us ADRs at Liberty Tree for Lunch

Salad was yummy as usual as were the dinner rolls. They were warm and fresh unlike Ale & Compass. Their Parker rolls were cold from the refrigerator and a disappointment.

This Riesling was nice, not too sweet. Never have seen and issues in TS restaurants in MK resulting from this policy change.

And the platter meal. Turkey, pot, beef, broccoli, cheese noodles, mashed potatoes, stuffing and 3 Flavors of gravy. I asked for more beef gravy. It is delicious

And finally the star of the show

Happy to report it is served warm again so the ice cream melts a bit on warm cake. All is right with the world again.

That last leg of the gondola is still not operating well intermittently. Doors not opening fully and slowing to crawl speed. At one point about 60 feet per minute. We have ridden every day and so much better than buses or boat.

Canada now becoming pricey for Festival of Arts. I thought Italy went above and beyond kiosk food prices at F&W.

Living with the Land is still in my top 5 of beloved attractions.

See the Sunflowers started to bloom. Not on our first day.

They have gone back to listing projects over CMs on duty.

LOUD CHEERING last 10 minutes

Guessing SUPER-BOWL is getting interesting. Hard to tell if one is doing well or cheering for good defense. But LOUD.

The new Starbucks is as sleek as it is efficient. Much more timely than The Fountain view. Just seems to have a better work flow inside.

I am so impressed

Also worth noting Joffrey at Main Entrance of EPCOT is substantially busier than it had been when the Starbucks Fountain was in operation.

Actually Joffrey is much quicker than Starbucks and all their venues business is picking up ‘cause many don’t want to wait 30 minutes for a cup Of coffee.

Right next to Starbucks is a new set
Of restrooms badly needed on that corner of the World Showcase. With about a half dozer restrooms closed or demolished in Future World are creating long lines and consistently pretty grungy and many lack toilet paper or paper towels. So any addition is welcome

And yet at the hub of Future World meets World Showcase these are pretty small given the need. The size is similar to that of restrooms just outside Exit if the Little Mermaid and Star Wars meet and greet at the Studios. Not tiny but not adequate either.

But the STUPID AWARD goes to the trowel sinks withe the very high pressure hand dryers mounted on the wall directly above the trowel and between each set of faucets. If a guest goes to dry hands while you are washing yours it whips the water from your faucet, dirty water from trowel along with the Water from guests hands on you and your hands. I believe this was the most STUPID THING I encountered so far this trip at WDW.

BAD GRANDMA award coming up.

Grandpa, Mother and Father of 2 little boys were riding Soarin. Grandma near seated in Seasons left to watch her Grandsons.

4 year old is messing big time with his baby brother trapped in high chair. Big Brother is squeezing baby’s cheeks together extremely hard then grabs him with one hand squishing the babies mouth. The baby is squirming to get away. The Big brother start pulling baby’s hair and proceeds to give baby a noogie.

Grandma is doing what? Nothing. She is seated between the boys and video taping the entire thing and smiling.

The other adults return and Grandma proudly shows the Mom Dad and her husband her video. Mom takes 4 year old out of ear shot and has a conversation with him about hurting his brother on purpose. Dad goes to baby to look at mouth and head and tries to cheer up baby. Grandma tries to defend her video vs doing anything to help the baby to Grandpa her husband. Grandpa wasn’t having any of it.

Son in law looked So ticked and angry at Grandma when she showed the video. Guess Grandma won’t be allowed alone with Grandchildren again

The simple fix is to exit via International Gateway and catch via BC's bus stop.
