Trip Report OH NO!!! I’m out of BASIN Body Butter

So what is a lady to do when she realizes she just ran out of Basin Body Butter. Not realizing that the last one opened was the LAST ONE.

Basin ships but it is pricey. Next best thing is to go to WDW to remedy the shortage-4 sleeps and HELLO BASIN and HELLO BODY BUTTER. Who needs more than 4 days to book and plan right?

A few tastes from the Festival.

• De-constructed Reuben: Sliced Corned Beef, Rye-crusted Sauerkraut and Jarlsberg Cake with Broken Thousand Island Dressing – $6.75, DDP Snack Eligible

The corn beef was beyond awesome with every layer. The Beef was very lean but tender. The rye sauerkraut cake was lovely and fantastic paired with the sauce that was tasty and didn’t taste at all like Thousand Island dressing ‘so woot for me cause I’m not a fan of that stuff


*. -Blood Orange and Lemon Tart

I could eat this tart every day. And beyond the yummy tart was all the different toppings that made the tart fun.

Dinner. Chef Art’s. A favorite of ours. Both had the chicken sandwich with different sauces.

Straw made from Agave. It felt like plastic was sturdy. What a straw should be.

And a restaurant that knows the importance of aging coleslaw

The I LAVA YOU float

The Orange Dole Whip here mixes perfectly with the strawberry and red passion fruit syrup. The syrup acts as the ‘lava’ here and cascades down into the soda base. Topped with Pop Rock candy

My DD liked not loved. Me one spoon and out. To many competing flavors and sugar coma sweet

A basic plastic straw for a single $1.00 if you can’t drink a shake or frozen drink without a plastic straw Funny it is OK to have a plastic straw if you pay $1. Giggle.

Cookie Jar

The Jar and Mug would also double as small and Large Candy Dishes because both are considerably heavy. The Coffee Mug is shaped badly to drink out of and odd shape for liquid to flow evenly to top but an excellent Candy Dish for a work desk.

Note the weight if your luggage returning home is questionable

We’ve left Studios to nab a s’mores cookie for my DD via Gondola to Art of Animation before taking AoA bus to AK.

From blocks away on Gondola we could hear fire alarm. It was coming from The Little Mermaid Buildings. Their flashing lights on walkways can be heard and seen well from even a distance.

Breakfast at Ale & Compass was so darn good! And the experience was so Horrid. 830 am and restaurant was at best 25%. So many CMs galore. Forever to get coffee and every stage of the food. The refill of coffee came as we were leaving. Trying to just get the check took forever along with coming back for payment and returning my card.

But the food was excellent to a top of the hat to the chef. We had blueberry bacon sour cream waffles and a side of sausage along with buffet and their famous Parker house rolls.

We could see it at the Boardwalk so only a few minute wait.

us. One of the middle aged men pulls out his dental floss and spends the next 10 minutes flossing his teeth.

Great News for those who participate at Animal Kingdom in the HAIR TIE TOSS at Everest. Well, since I'm at the airport, couldn't exactly do that.

So tonight the Center theatre was closed for a little while.

We went standby, wait time stated 25 but made it to the merge point in 10 minutes. The theaters to both right and left were completely filled.

The sorter CM sent us down the completely empty center theater queue. We went straight to the seating divides.

The CM apologized for the wait. He went on to explain they just got the last boarding group back on to re-ride. Apparently a special needs minor was having some issues during the show and they brought down the flight so that the child could exit with his family and seating group B would not be utilized

After hearing the explanation I was so impressed with the cast members at Soarin and the special accommodations made for the family during an unexpected reaction.
