Excellent point! My earliest memories of riding Space Mountain have nothing to do with the ride...it's all about the queue. I'm sure it'll be great once the refurb is done, but I'll always fondly remember the original :).

and does drinking around the world consist of atleast 1 alcoholic beverage at every country? if so good luck, theres like 13 countries!

I said I would post when I here when I got home so I now deliver goodnight lol. Ok a bit of info SpaM did reach 100min. right around the end of the first Spectro. Around closeing stand by was around 60min. which I gladly passed with a FP for my final ride. I dedicated my last ride first to Martin because he's so awesome & for calling it a rust bucket lol. Then of coarse a shout out to everyone else here & to my other Disney site I love. All of this & me rambling like an idiot as we go on our last ride will be in Zach's trip diary video. Over all lot of fun & TTA everytime I went on it decided it needed to stop sometime during my ride for a break. I prayed I was going to get an E-Vac but nope just sat there for a few & started up again. Can't wait until its all shinny & new again. Now I'm off to bed & I wish all of you could have been there with us.

OMG WOW What a first day. So much happened!

It was SO amazing to finally be back in WDW. It seems like I never left. It was a perfect day. Simply perfect.

BEAUTIFUL weather, great CMs, and of course, SM's final hours!

:ROFLOL: It's kinda like Lassie, isn't it. All I hope is that they don't change the queue music. It's been there since 1975.

I didn't see it either. Maybe he's still working on that part. I'm also anxious to see more of Tren-D. That's one of the big things I'm looking forward to next month!

I hadn't really thought of it before, but I think when I'm there next and I see SM & TTA with walls up I may get a little teary-eyed... just missin' an old friend... Ya know? Just gotta keep in mind that good things are coming our way and let the TLC abound for my old friends. :kiss:

I'm not going to disney world this summer.I'm afraid I might get teary eyed.I'm going to disneyland so I could forget space mountain's under refub
