Official release date given for 20k Pin

I haven't seen any restriction as to release site yet, but they may identify one site for initial distribution. If not, it will be available at a number of major distribution sites, so you could potentially go from Emporium to the site in Frontierland or wherever.

Well, If I get two...:lookaroun then walk away....:lookaroun then get two......:lookaroun walk away....I may be able to get a few more than normaly. At MNSSHP they mark your wristband, but they didn't do anything like that for the COP pin so. I think I will be able to get a few.

Wow. I dont know how or what to feel. 20K is/was my favorite attraction.

I dont know if I should feel happy that Disney is "honoring" my favorite in this limited edition set or if I should be hacked off because they continue to take out the classic attractions and replace them with crud, then try to sell me stuff related to the classic attraction.

I don't know that I'd count on it being around. There's a pre-sale auction with a day left and it's already almost $37!

20k wasn't my all-time favorite ride - to be honest, I barely remember it - but I too would think this was a great addition to my pin collection. I'm hoping to find someone to get me one too.

I suspect they will sell out very fast. I'd be shocked if they were still around a week after they were released.

I second that. I'd be shocked if they were around the day after they're released. I've seen holiday pins (like 4th of July 2002), with 5,000 released, sell out within hours. I'd imagine that this will go very quickly, with people arriving very early. Even non-pin collectors are after this one. I've also heard of them giving people wristbands that arrive early, to guaruntee them the pin (to help prevent stampedes and fights). I'm not sure if this will require that, or not. Anyone planning to go get this one, I'd recomend arriving as early as possible.

Does anyone know where they will be sold exactly.

Also when the others will be released will it be the 28th of each month? Also what other attractions will be aviliable other than 20k?

I'd like to know if it will be available "around the World" as well. I had been planning on going to Epcot and DTD that night, but I'll go to MK if I have to. This is definitely one to add to the collection.

I had called guest relations for last weeks release of the COP and SM pins. The official information is that when it comes to LE pins, they are only available in the park where that attraction resides or did reside. If it is a general disney LE pin that doesnt feature any one attraction, then they are often available at other locations such as downtown disney and other parks. :wave:
