I kept going back between this and one of the short lived Rocket Rods. In the end it was about the pic quality not a cool ride, so here is mine for this week.

A night time version of Disneyman15's picture. I was looking for something else, but apparently do not take enough ride photos....

You know, since these contests have started I've found that I'm missing alot of subjects... the list of subjects have really made me think about some things I never really paid attention to before.

And the quality of the shots just keeps improving... so I guess this is really making better photographers out of us all; maybe not in technique so much as opening our minds to some new perspectives/subjects.

(and now I wish I lived closer so I could go practice. )

True dat! I've been doing some practicing here though since I can't be there to do it. I got some really nice pics in Central Park a few weeks ago on a "Practice Night." It's kinda fun, and I get to feel like a tourist again.

 I thought the same thing. I told my mom that I can't believe that of all of our trips, we have no pictures of the monorail  My dad has always been a person that we need to have people in the pictures because that's what we remember. But if we go in April or in May, I'm going to put or Digital Camera to good use :D

I've already compiled a list of things I need to photograph, some for contests and some "just because".

Nick, I've been working on my technique too, but NYC is sure alot prettier than up here in the snow covered woods. I've gotten pretty good at photographing the deer raiding the birdfeeders.

Evidence. They've been caught red handed!

Another great shot Dave. I'm amazed you were able to turn around enough to frame the shot as good as you did. Awesome!

And thanks to everyone who commented on my Liberty Bell Riverboat pic. Overall, it actually came out better than I expected ... but there's also quite a bit of "noise" in the shot if you look close enough (or on a really bright monitor).
