Yes but the Clone tool would break the rules of this contest. Its not a photo editing contest. It's also highly unethical to do things like that, ala 1950s russia where people would dissapear from photos.

It's not something I suggested to do for the competition, but if it was a photo of mine, I'd consider it for my own collection. There are some of mine I've not entered because I've cloned a little background or blurred it to bring the subject out. There is one where I've duplicated a person in the background to plug a gap.

I'm not suggesting that she actually edit the picture in photoshop. I'm just saying, it's a convenient tool I use when digitally manipulating photos for my own personal enjoyment.:)

Ah. Thats what i thought, god knows i have to use it to remove dust from teh photos when i shoot at a high F-Stop.

DSLR people, you will get dust on your CCD. Its a fact of life, and it bites hardcore.

I LOVE that picture MainStreetUSA! I remember you posted it some time ago (probably after one of your trips) and I loved it then to!

Trust me, I was very tempted to use to clone tool, if not to get rid of the lady to at least get rid of the godawful cup she's holding! But I'm no cheater. ;)

I do photo editing for a living, so it's SOO hard for me not to play with my photos for these contests!

There's a place I know well. Last month my 1 year old absolutely refused to watch the show so we spent the whole 20 something minutes in there while she ran up and down the ramps over and over again shreiking!

Yeah, I've had that pic for over two years now I think, or at least close to two. I love to take shots of places that are rarely seen without people. Heck, until the moment I took that pic, I'd only seen that exit corridor jam packed. One of my faves for sure.

Great little story, by the way. lol

One of my more favorite moments from the hall of presidents.... As i look at this again, i didnt realise i had caught that phrase in the photo... "We hold these to be self-evident, that all men are created equal"
