I was just wondering what makes them so expensive.
That could be for a number of reasons. First of all, how long ago were you in college?
Seriousy, though, the amount of screenprinting is the biggest factor. Any shirts you had made in college, and I'm remembering my fraternity shirts here, were more likely than not done with 2 color process. These shirts are done in 4 color, which jacks up the price quite a bit, based on the fact that they have to be run through the printer 4 times rather than 1 or 2. That's a lot of ink, and we all have to pay for it.
Second, I not only am compensating for shipping to all of you seperately, but also the shipping from the printing company to myself.
Third, I've thrown in a dollar on each shirt to compensate myself for my time and effort. Believe it or not, I get paid a lot more than that for a design alone on a regular occasion. I figured that was fair. I spent a few hours coming up with the design, and then the hours spent squaring things away with the printing company and packing and shipping everything still hasn't come up.
That's why they are costing as much as they do.
Also, MicBat, to answer your question, it's pretty much the same answer as I wrote above. The later it gets, the less sizes will be available. But as long as I still have shirts you can take as long as you want up until about the end of October.
