This is almost too much to listen to. They are just hammering home "shareholder value" and "long-term value". Now some more numbers to numb the audience. I am literally getting sick to my stomach from hearing this garbage.... dizzy from all the spin....

Basically Netflix and OnDemand?

Oh, Lord save us. This just screams go.com all over again. Throw billions of dollars in something that's already invented and done much better. Sigh.:brick:

they are throwing so many numbers around.

If they are so good with numbers......................why is the stock price virtually the same as 10 years ago?

The right movie at the right price

Imagine if they didn't pass at the Tolkein trilogy. Then it would be we needed to pay more to get the 11 academy awards. Spin is an amazing thing.

Walt Disney Name - uh isn't it Disney marketing and Pixar's product.

And now for more information..uh ...commercials....

Lord of the Rings??? Right, I know that movie. You mean the one that Eisner didn't want to fund because he thought it was too expensive. Whatever.

Yeah, the whole trilogy. Eisner passed on it for Miramax, I thought I read somewhere. And he's the best person for the job. Right.... :brick:

So sad that they push POTC ahead of Nemo for the reason the movie division was so successful. And they're proud that they made movies on the cheap.

Everybody passed on it except for New Line, EVERYBODY. Applauds to New Line. That Hanks movie "Sounds" good. Not so sure about Alamo though.

I think they are now saying "name" where they would have said "brand" before Roy's comments.

And this is a good thing. Something put out in someone's NAME has to live up to it, or be measured by it.

No kidding....this is a boring part of the meeting! Especially since you can't see the trailers.

And can someone please tell me how to do this chatroom thing, step by step? I still can't get it.
