Yep, you're right. Looks like they did open it to phones.

Great idea. Apple does a great job with these announcements. When Steve Jobs gets on stage and starts talking, everyone all over the internet tunes in to live feeds and live updates. This does a great job to build excitement.

Hopefully this is what Disney is trying to replicate. Of course, Jay Rasulo is no Steve Jobs.
