I'm still holding out hope (as I was for Hong Kong) that part of the agreement with another Asia park will include Pandas and other animals being sent to Animal Kingdom.

I'm not really surprised that there is nothing about WDW in the Parks and Resorts exhibit. Officially, nothing has been announced for WDW. When the Hong Kong additions and DCA additions were announced we didn't see sprawling models exhibiting what we should be expecting.

I expect next year's convention would have a model of the Fantasyland makeover, with it being announced either tomorrow or sometime in the next year.
Next year? That means we have to wait till 2014 for the FL expansion to be complete. Hope ST2 and other new attractions are announced for WDW tomorrow.

I thought of that too, but all the exhibit halls in the Parks & Resorts pavilion are chock full of displays and huge models and lighting and such. They would have to move out stuff to get anything else in, and it would be a major production.

Jay Rasulo's speech in the Anaheim Arena is at 11:00AM. They would either have to close the insanely popular Parks & Resorts pavilion right in the middle of the day for the swap, or do it overnight and only have the new WDW stuff on display for the final day of the Expo on Sunday.

I really think the big news about WDW will be verbally communicated by Jay on Saturday, and hopefully seen in some artwork flashed on the big video screens inside the Arena.

I don't know what the layout is, but could there be another section to the exhibit that wasn't open today? Perhaps stuff that they don't want to show off until an official announcement tomorrow? Or does it look like the current exhibits take up all the room they have available to them?

Move a few pieces of artwork, take down a wall, voila! An addition to the exhibit with awesome new things for WDW...

Ooh! I never thought of that! It's really impossible to tell what walls might be moved or opened up suddenly. The entire exhibit takes place in a monolith type structure that takes up 75,000 square feet of Hall B. Here's the entrance, and all you see as you walk towards it. http://darkbeer.smugmug.com/Theme-Parks/D23DLR-91009/9591060_65i6c#645791961_cKzEV-A-LB

Once you leave the entry theater and the big TV splits apart to become the starfield and entrance to the first exhibit, you just sort of flow from one walled and darkened space to another, sort of like a maze.

It's entirely possible a wall could be moved within minutes, opening up an entire WDW exhibit that hadn't been seen for the first two days of the Expo!

I was thinking the same thing. I'm sure we all hope the don't ignore WDW.

If they do, I think I know why. As I said, my theory will be on here no matter what. Think about it though, if they annnounce something suprising it will be interesting and if they ignore WDW, well that would be interesting too. Quite interesting! :lookaroun

I wouldn't rule it out, but what I meant was that when the announcements for new attractions were made we typically only see a few pieces of concept art, not a full model, so stage one is the announcement and a few pieces of concept art, stage two would be the models.

Lou Mongello will be broadcasting live tomorrow...

Well, the DCA announcements were followed by the Blue Sky Cellar.

I would expect some video footage of them testing Star Tours 2.0 sometime during the presentation.

Nah-- Not gonna happen. The Wall Street Journal and some crazy asian news sources none of us have ever heard of will break that story 10 minutes after China ok's the project.

I was at the Parks & Resorts exhibit near the Carsland model today, and while I was standing there a man came up and started talking to the imagineer working there. He introduced himself and said he was a writer? for the Carsland project and he was working on Shanghai as well. He had a name tag/credentials and he was with a group of suits.

so i'm guessing Shanghai is a go

One cool note for all the pirate fans out there. Looks like there will be a 4th pirates movie POTC:On Stranger Tides coming Summer 2011. Captain Jack, we never get sick of you.

Al Lutz is reporting that TDA is furious over the leaking of EO and Star Tours info prior to Jay's big speech.

I only hope they are not furious because that's all that Jay was going to announce. But I got a bad feeling . . .

Huh?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't it Al Lutz who actually leaked EO?

Question: Have we seen that new video of World of Color that someone said we were suppose to get? I know there is the old one floating around, the one shot in the Ble Sky Cellar, but I had heard they were going to do an even more detailed presentation.
