Imayoyo would disagree. Even Lee defers to imayoyo. Just sayin'.

You sound endlessly embittered. I mean that in an amusing way however.

I'm not desperate, I'm right.

Well, here I am, just trying to do nothing but make a funny post, and you come along ramming this debate back down our throats again. I wasn't making any commentary on whether I thought AC was coming back or not, but I guess you just have to jump on any opportunity to share your well-established opinion on the property's future.

I just find it a little strange that it's been well over a year since Disney stated that they had a bold, new plan (which would presumably be ready to put into action as soon as the clubs closed), we haven't had any solid information or evidence, and here we are with a major event covering everything that fans are interested in that's going on with Disney over the couple of years, the perfect opportunity for a grand reveal of said plan, and not a peep about Pleasure Island or Downtown Disney as a whole. Not even a mention of it.

I trust Imayoyo implicitly, and I'm sure that there's finally going to be some stuff coming, but I think it's way to late to say that it was part of a grand master vision. They'll probably just be a couple of third-party vendors that Disney begged for after whatever plan they'd originally had tanked.

But the overall point is, I was just trying to have some fun, and you insisted on coming along and forcing your viewpoint on us again, as if we hadn't already heard it ad nauseum.

OK, I see the problem. Dude (and this is very important) "Bold new plan" are my words NOT Disney's. And I'm certainly not a spokesman for Disney.

Disney has never said anything about what they are planning. I don't force my opinion on anyone. I'm just expressing myself.

With all the detail and effort in unveiling new attractions at other parks I kind of find it doubtful that they're saving any kind of "surprise" for Disney World.

I imagine they think that Star Tours 2.0 is a suprise, and I will enjoy it being official, seeing concept art, perhaps a preview, and then of course, all of the hoopla associated with the Storm Troopers that will be there.

This will be a great event. No fighting. We should start a Continue You Brawl Here thread in chit chat. So everytime someone picks a fight, someone says brawl, and it continues there.

I can swear that 'bold, new vision' were the exact words in the used in the press release, and possibly in the Pleasure Island closure pamphlet.

Well maybe I picked it up subliminally :dazzle: but people have been making fun of me for the phrase for months. Which I don't mind by the way. I can take it. Name calling? Well I think we are all above that hopefully. Pumbas being the exception. He's a lost cause.

Ummmm....
From the Disney press release:
"Walt Disney World Resort Unveils Bold New Vision for Downtown Disney"
“Our bold new vision for Downtown Disney reflects the feedback we receive from our guests each and every day and will enable us to continue to offer the high-quality entertainment that is our hallmark.”

What is the date on the press release?
