Jamie (the bag pipe player) is still there. The fiddle has actually replaced the keyboard player who decided to leave the group.
That, and their popularity seems to have made them pretty immune from any meddling on the part of Disney. Thankfully....I'm actually surprised Off Kilter has done this gig as long as they have. They must like the job and the stability.
Thanks for the updates tigger!! I just hate that I always happen to miss Jamie haha but it's okay because I LOVE mark!! But I asked him the other month if I could hear Alive or if they still play it, he said they wouldn't be able to play it their next set because it was a different tune. Tigger, would you happen to know which set do they usually play Alive? That's my favorite song by then and I haven't heard it played live in over 6+ months now and I usually see them once or twice a month.
Also do you know what the new song they usually play in their last set is? I can't understand Mark's accent, I think he says aaronshore? It is an instrumental song
It's nice that they are as genuinely appreciative of their fans as we are of their talent.I've got a 4 year old niece who is infatuated with bagpipes and last January the Off Kilter members (particularly the bagpiper) treated her like a queen after one of their shows. I can't say enough nice things about these people.
http://wdwnews.com/photos/2013/11/2...eurs-join-holidays-around-the-world-at-epcot/I saw briefly the other day that Off Kilter's name was being displayed on their normal nameplate, and that their stage was decorated for the Holidays. I didn't get a chance to see this "new band" and was even wondering if it was just Off Kilter with a holiday overlay as the times guide said it would be this Canadian Celtic band playing Holiday Music. Anyone have an idea?
