October WDWMagic Meet? Anyone?

Anyone planning a late October trip?

We've been discussing in another thread maybe getting some members together during the Halloween season, possibly meeting up at the Adventurer's Club one night. Anyone up for it?

My dates aren't set for sure yet, but I'll probably be there from October 20th-26th. My AP runs out on the 26th, which is why I can't be at the December meet. :(

Is anyone else out there planning a Halloween/Food & Wine trip? Want to get together and meet some fellow Magics? Post here and we'll see if we can get a meet or two organized!

Yep....I must have been looking at the calendar wrong. Sorry to confuse you!

*goes back & edits* :hammer:

Okay....yes, *Sunday* the 26th at the Adventurer's Club. So far this seems to include me, Pippa, AkiraRaptor, and hopefully Pam. This one is definite, but we haven't nailed down a time yet.

And something on the 18th looks like it would fit with billybaruch1, Bagheera, AdLibSean, careship, and wannabeBelle.

Something on the 20th or 21st might fit with a lot of our schedules, too.

MouseMadness and stingrock23 will both be there in the second week, so they (and anyone else going around that time) can get a meet together around the 10th or so?

Anyone have any ideas or preferences or suggestions? Anyone else coming during these times?

No problem.

Hey, all you 18th'ers out there! I haven't the foggiest idea how you'd like to proceed, but here's my suggestion. I'm definitely planning on being at the Adventurer's Club Saturday night, October 18. I post on another board and the people who meet from there all wear lime green ribbons or "swatches"... like St. Patrick's Day. So I'm going to do that and I'd like to meet and greet some of you "real" characters (as opposed to Mickey and Donald, etc.)

Any other preferences and suggestions? We could wear hats with WDWMAGIC on them... or we could meet up somewhere else, let me know.

Well, our flight out on the 18th leaves at 5:45, so that lets me out of that one. Christy, we probably couldn't think of trying the 10th, as we're arriving with my parents on that day. Depending on when you're leaving on the 11th, I might be able to sneak off for a little while. (While my parents like meeting new people, I think that they want to spend the maximum time bonding with my son during the short time that they're with us.) Belle, my folks will be gone by the time that you arrive, so if I can get my wife to agree, we could try to set something up somewhere in the 16-17 range.

Hey Bagheera, Sounds good although I know the 17th would work better for me. We may be doing the MNSSHP on the 16th. As far as the AC on the 18th, no problem assuming I am not dragging tail from running around the parks so much!!! Id love to meet all you guys!!! Belle:sohappy:  :D

Hey guys! The only night that I'm going to be in the Pleasure Island area will probably be the 17th- if we go. We might even try to catch a Cirque show is well- so keep me updated- but it looks like I won't be able to make it. :(

I'm going to be there Oct. 11-18, but I doubt anyone wants to meet me. Staying at Port Orleans Riverside.

I sure hope that the Fairytale Package doesn't make Disney unseasonably crowded. I'm beginning to think that the crowds are going to be large. Oh well, if we're going to have August crowds, at least it won't be in August weather.

Maybe next time. Haven't picked dates yet, though. My wife wants to take a year off. I'm not sure I'd survive. We may come to a compromise. We'll see. In the meantime, 88 days to go!!! :sohappy: :sohappy:

Go Bagheera!

Thank you, Bagheera for doing such a great job summarizing everyone's dates! That list makes it much easier. I don't know where I'll be staying yet, but I'll post as soon as I've made my reservations. I'm still not positive of our dates, either, but I expect it to be what I posted.
