Wait, October 1st was the MK's 40th anniversary!?! We spent most of the day at EPCOT for its very under-celebrated 29th anniversary! Actually, most of the day was spent at a conference at the Hilton (don't you just love weekend conferences?), but the night was mine.
Seriously, though, we did stop in EPCOT for her 29th and rode SSE, and then monorailed over to the MK around 8:30 PM, and dealt with the crowds...many of which were surprisingly rude. The fireworks were nice, at least what we saw of them as we walked out of Haunted Mansion. It was cool being on property for the 40th. It was even more cool to take the monorail back to EPCOT to get the car at 1 AM.
