I dont really understand the Cheshire Cat statue. I can see why it would only be a head, but what's the gold cloth underneath him for???

It might be hiding the support for his head? That's the best I can come up with.

When I saw it I thought he was forming out of the decoration. (kind of how he forms from the Queen of Hearts Crown on Alice in Wonderland)

Why do I only see red x's??? Ever other time people post pics I can see them but not these ones? I am very upset.... I really want to see them!!!!

Well they are progressing very quickly on the stage, I am presuming they are not going to have the fiber optics or the lift stage for Cindy and her man.

The fiber optics up lighting on the platforms are there. They were on this evening for some reason. As for the lifts they are delayed in installing from what I was hearing. The accumilators for the hydraulics are said to be going in under the stage this week. The tall riser on stage left I believe has a lift in it.

I like the real one better ... yes I too am a P. Pan Stalker... every time in the parks I seek him out... not always succesfull ... maybe ill come to you for some tips!

The castle is looking great cant wait to see it in a few weeks.. im Excited!!! hopefully it will all be done by the 28th!

Installed? Installed where? OH- you meant on the castle- :lol:
I am going down next week- on Thursday (I can't wait)- if you want pictures of him, I just bought a new camera, so I can try to get him "up close and personal"

I love those pics! The show and castle will be great when finishes. are there other decorations going up at other WDW parks, such as spaceship earth or any other decorations around the parks?

Great pics. Thanks for posting them. I can't believe how fast they have been able to do all this. We were there Feb 12-15 & just a few turrets were decorated & some of the gold trim. I think it looks really great. Can't wait to see Tink on top & to see it in person. :wave:

Wow a couple of the pic's of pan and wendy really show how small that tower is i wonder what kind of a climb it is and how much room is up there for tink to take off during wish's. On a seperate question looking at the castle so much does anyone have any idea where the "apartment" is located and what it is used for now?

I agree. The two things I want to stay are the spirals and the gold trip (garland, etc.). Although I think the characters, mirror, and gold streamers on the top of the turrets look nice, I think they should come down after the celebration is over.

Also, there is no apartment in Cinderella Castle. Located in Cinderella Castle is a shop and Cinderella's Royal Table (restaurant). I'm sure there are other starecases and rooms (for Tinkerbell), but there is no apartment.

I thought on one of the Travel Channel specials they said that there was an apartment built for Walt and his family, but they never got to use it.

another question i forgot to ask why did they take the hands off the clock ? I can't see why the mirror can't just hang in front of it. p.s where can i find the concept art of the castle for the celebrations.
