Nov or Dec Trip?

All, When do you think is the best week to go in Nov and Dec? We are looking to book our trip for the first time going in these Months. Usually we go at the end of April so I have no idea on crowds etc..

Any help is greatly appreciated.

If you are looking for lower crowd levels, definitely not the week of Thanksgiving, the week of Christmas, or the week after Christmas (up until New Year's) - I have never been at these times, but I hear it can be extremely crowded. :wave:

Go the week after Thanksgiving, low crowds and everything is decorated for the holiday.

While I haven't been right after Thanksgiving (our group typically goes the week after Christmas-- brutal, I know!), I've had several friends go in the past few years the week immediately following Thanksgiving through the second weekend of Dec... and they have had minimal wait times for E-ticket rides. Plus, you can experience the festivities of the holidays which are fantastic!!

I agree with some of the others- the week right before or right after Thanksgiving. You'll miss the majority of the crowds around that holiday, avoid the Pop Warner bruhaha (along with Jersey Week), but still have the pleasure of seeing the parks decorated for the holidays.

I would go the first or second week of December........ It is value season and all the christmas decorations are up. I am planning a trip in Dec. 2011 at Wilderness Lodge for thse reasons.

A lot of schools will already be out for the holidays, so it be fairly crowded. Touringplans.com shows those days to range from a 4-9, so expect to utilize fastpass and make your ADRs today.

When to go.

The week before Thanksgiving or the week after through the first full week
of December are great times to be at the World. We arrive Dec. 5. to begin our annual trip. We have been to the World during the Christmas Week and New Years. NEVER again. Extremely crowded and VERY expensive, regardless of where you stay. Have a blast. Today is 90 outside, so saying Merry Christmas is weird. :xmas: :sohappy:
